I see a couple scenarios that aren't very far fetched where we are the 6th seed at 10-6 or 9-7, playing @ the 3rd seed Atlanta in a wild card playoff game.

This would likely make the week 17 January 1st game against them not matter a whole lot to them as they would be the 3 seed win or lose.

Then again... there is still of course the possibility that we finish as the #1 seed in the NFC. :hihi:

I will be happy with a 10-6 or 9-7 season even if we don't make the playoffs. It's all about getting the team trending in the right direction and building towards next year and the year after that.

10-6 we are definitely in the playoffs. 9-7 we still have a pretty decent chance. Basically unless Atlanta loses 3 games we have to beat TB twice. If we lose one of those games and they finish with the same record as us they will get in, according to the playoff predictor.

At 10-6 the Saints still need a number of things to happen ... either Atlanta losing one additional game, or two teams currently above the Saints the in WC race to lose one more game, with the third team Washington losing two.
