Listed below are a few things I was able to catch from his feed:

- He will NOT sign with Atlanta

- He will rejoin the Saints if they wanted him back. He would have to have a man-to-man talk with Dennis Allen first.

- Brees is the hardest working player he's ever been around. He sleeps at the office and even watches football film from the 80's to help his game.

- He believes Ken Crawley will be a very good player soon

- He's not a fan of Cover-3 defense. He wants to follow the player that he's assigned to.

- Regarding Jarius Byrd, he states that it's hard for a player to come back after several major operations and perform at a high level

- He's a Who Dat for life. When he's no longer able to play, he'll buy jerseys and tail gate with the rest of the fans

- Breaux & KV are "the truth"

- No WR has ever gained over 100 yards on him

- He's not a fan of Cover-3 defense. He wants to follow the player that he's assigned to.

- He passed up on a bigger contract to join the Saints. Mainly to play for his home team and to be an inspiration to the youth of the city.

- He believes Michael Thomas will be a huge star

- He admits that Cooks is the only WR he would have trouble with for the Saints. He states there's no way the Saints would trade him.

But is he a fan of the cover 3?

:mwink:

Seriously, that was really cool. I was ready for him to trash us....that was awesome.

The fact that he's a Saints fan above all else is so cool. And does he have anything left in the tank?

Maybe take a full year off of working out, getting healthy, stronger, and who knows?

I'm definitely open to him coming in for camp next year. He'll have to earn everything he gets though, because I'm skeptical he can "come back."

But I'd love to see him try. Dude has so much passion, and if he doesn't have beef with us or our coaches, then I don't have any with him. Would be cool to get him back if he's able to perform.

Wasn't the story we wanted to IR him so he could get another surgery (which he had anyway) and come back next year? But he thought he could play before the last surgery and was cut to accommodate him.

I'm not sure if that means the Saints thought his failure chance was high enough to let him go, or he was just so headstrong they caved.

wait i thought he had another team all lined up?

honestly, if he has a problem with Allen, i kinda have a problem with him since i've watched Allen make chicken salad out of chicken poop all season.

I would totally welcome him back if he is healthy. Why can't the stars ever align where we have 2 pro-bowl-caliber CBs at the same time?

Breaux blows up and Keenan gets injured... I think Greer and Porter was the closest we've ever been.

No chance he's coming back... He had a lot of positive things to say in regards to SP and the most of the players on the roster. However when Allen was brought up he wasn't so kind.

He called DA a bit*h a few times and said if he ever seen him on the street they would hash things out. Apparently they had bad blood stemming back from Allens time at Oakland that carried over here. He was also disappointed in Mickeys handling of him being cut, he felt Mickey didn't give him a proper departure... Basically a handshake and appreciation for him doing what he could to get healthy.

I also found it interesting he said he had an offer from the Browns for $45 million but felt it was more important for him to come home and play for less.

I would welcome back most former players, granted if they still have a lot left in the tank and is healthy and can help the team out. I never take these negative comments from former players personally because it is mostly just business related. Most of these remarks are directed toward the team and the organization and never against the city or it fans. Like Jimmy Graham, I would welcome him back in a heart beat as long as he is healthy and cheaper. I have never heard him once said any bad about the fans or the city. The animosity is between him and the coach and the organization.

He admitted that he was 50% the last time he played (not including training camp).

My guess is he felt that he could rehab pretty hard and have good film incase he was cut next season.
Players rarely finish out their contract. They are either cut or forced to restructure.
