I know alot of us were chomping at the bit to draft these guys including me before the Brees signing. I personally think Vince is gonna be a better QB in the long run. That was an amazing comeback for the Titans and of course Eli helped a bit but Vince didnt get to rattled with all the pressure. Matt is putting up some nice numbers also it just seems he doesnt have the team effort the Titans do for whatever reason. They are loaded with talent when it comes to offense. Just wondering what peoples thought were.

Leinart reminds me of Matt Hasselbeck early in his career. He is going to be a very good quarterback.

Vince will be winning MVP awards and Super Bowls within 4 years.

I think they've both performed better than expected, I'm excited for Cutler to get his shot. We certainly wouldn't be 7-4 with either QB but I'd still feel okay about our future (but not as good as I do today)

:_rofl:

I agree that both are going to be very good, and both are good for the NFL. I think Vince is on his way to shutting a lot of people up, and with a better O-line and that receiving corp, Leinart will make that offense dangerous.

Yeah, I cant wait to see Cutler play........I mean all these guys were pretty good coming out of college. Its pretty cool to watch em' grow into leaders or regress sometimes.

They are both NFL QB's but I have to give it up to Vince. I was a huge critic of Vince but when you looked at him in the games he has won this season I never thought he would be this good so early.

I think it's a little early for a prediction like that LC. I know that's your boy and all, but be realistic. Young is on a slightly better team than Leinart therefore slightly better results. I see Leinart as the next Peyton Manning once he gets a line and a D.

I'm so glad we have Drew Brees.

I totally agree...........now. I admit when we first signed Brees I was not excited at all thinking we had a lame QB. I really wanted Matt or Vince. He made me believe by week 3 and it seems its the smartest thing we have ever done as a organization. I wouldnt trade Brees for the world now.

Vince had a good game, but he hasn't shut people up yet. Hes having a pretty average to below average season. Of course hes a rookie and thats to be expected, but I think the concensus is hes doing better then he really is just because of what he did this past week in the final quater of the game.

A 63.9 QB rating and a 49% completion ratio isn't mindblowing even for a rookie and I think the book is still out on him for a few more years. We'll know more middle of next season. I think hes good enough to take the Titans to a winning record next year if they would improve in other areas and get a real running back. His running always brings another demension. I just hope he stays with his passing instead of tucking and running all the time.

As for Matt. I haven't really payed attention. Its been like the Cardinals and him don't exist since that bears game.

Young is on a slightly better team? Are you serious?

Leinart: Fitzgerald, Boldin, Bryant Johnson, Leonard Pope, Edgerrin James

Vince Young: Drew Bennett, Travis Henry

Give me a break.

Between those two and Brees available in FA, it's like even the old Saints couldn't have screwed it up.

Young > Leinart, this year at least. Young has a long way to go but he seems to be progressing nicely as the season moves on. Last time I saw a stat line on Leinart he had throw 2 picks and they lost. Do they even show Cardinals highlights on ESPN anymore?

We wouldn't be 7-4 with either Leinart or Superman.

Brees was the correct choice. I've been saying this for months.

I'm just echoing the consensus. Vince is the man. He has shut up Merrill Hodge and all the other pundits who said he'd never be able to learn to make reads in the NFL.
Vince is the player they all claim Vick is: a quarterback who can kill a defense with his feet AND with his accurate throws. Sure, he's still rough this year, but he's made some nice passes and found his second and third options on plays. He's going to be SCARY good by next season, maybe unstoppable by his fourth year. What's really good about him is he's always looking to complete the pass and only runs when he's absolutely sure he's got no one open and a lane (unlike Vick who gives up too early).
Leinart is also going to be a top notch QB, but he's still going to have to contend with playing for the Cardinals. We'll begin to learn about Cutler on Sunday. Who knows on him? He may be great, which most expect, or he may fall apart; one can never tell until they get out there under the gun.
