Very proud of our team. They could have packed it all up and went through the motions but they played and fought like it was a playoff game until the very end. Especially proud of our offense and the chemistry they have built together.

Disappointed in our defensive talent and how we seem to let the same offensive plays consistently torch us, but even they didn't give up. I will always love this team even though I may not like them sometimes.

Offensively, we are usually in any game at any given moment. I cannot stand the Falcons but I have to respect them for a hard fought game and Matt Ryan really is a class act and looking to be playing the best ball of his career. Here's to them being 1 and done in the playoffs.

Let's see how this off season goes and hope for a good free agency and draft. 2017 is gonna be a good year. Happy New Year everyone.

WHODAT!!!

Atlanta's #1, #2, and #3 WR were available to them meanwhile were on our 5th and 6th DB. Guys we're just out matched in talent. The announcers hinted at Kyle Shannahan pointed out they have so many weapons on O that it's hard for teams to counter. Moore and Webb are depth not starters.

Aaron Glen Coach of the Year IMO. Only assistant coach on the team that was able to get street FA ready to play week in and week out. Sadly, he's the only one that stood out...

I'm damn proud of them too. Couldn't have turned out much better.

1) ELEVENTH pick in the draft! That's huge. We were lucky how the other games played out.
2) Drew set the record with 5000 yards (again).
3) Ingram got his 1000 yards.
4) Thomas got his 1000 yards (setting more franchise records).
5) No major injuries.
6) Saints came back from embarrassment to make it respectable. Atlanta was nervous in the end.
7) Atlanta will lose after their bye week, 46-2, in typical fashion. Atlanta's fans will have hopes crushed yet again. And I dig that.

I feel really good about how this ended.

I'm not as puked out as most Saints fans seem to be about how the season ended because I didn't expect much when the season started.

A young team who showed growing pains and a team that was unable to keep a decent CB on the field the entire season and a defense that had huge holes in it most of the season but they did at least show some competitiveness and fire.

Say what you will about the defense but they DID keep the Saints in more than a few games this season.

I'm looking forward to next season............:9:

I thought the 2nd half was promising on both sides of the ball and I have seen a good improvement in defense over the last several games. But My gosh we need to play 4 qtrs and not the last half. If we can keep everyone healthy next year and have a GOOD draft for a defensive end and a little luck Man I say watch out 2017.. Look at the bright side atleast our secondary backups got some good experience.. LOL

If the defense could play half as well in the 1st half as they do in the second we might stand a chance.

We just need everything to come together health and depth wise as we should be right back in the playoffs, we've been competitive during this rebuild\retool but there are still positions to be filled.

This! Man, how good is this guy gonna be in 2017? Imagine when he has everyone healthy, Look out! :worthy:

2015 Saints Secondary allowed 45 passing touchdowns.

2016 Saints Secondary allowed 23 passing touchdowns.

Eye popping amount of improvement.

Yet another example of how critical position coaches are, and how much a position group can improve with a quality position coach.

Happy with the coaches for the most part, we just need a little more talent and we should be ready, not like the 40 years of sitting on the bottom with a poor team and coach, we have a chance every year with this group, yes I want to win every year, but only 1/32 teams gets that chance
