Ive been spending countless hours looking at game film and these are the players I think the Saints can and will target with their 1st pick.

Derek Barnett - DE
Teez Tabor- CB
Marshon Lattimore - CB
Taco Charlton - DE

I love takk but for me he is a little light for a true defensive end.

Id love hooker but i think he goes top 8.

Williams is a monster but i see his off the field concerns making him a longshot.

Those are a lot of good options, but I think Watson and Adoree Jackson could also be options.

Jackson was a thought in the 2nd round, but his game tape has recently gotten round 1 buzz and he's a lock to blow up the combine. He's gonna shoot up boards hard, and he's such a versatile player I think he deserves the hype. Honestly, I don't see much difference between Jackson and Jalen Ramsey.

I really really want barnett. I think he could finally complete this D line. However, I'm really starting to brace myself for a Watson pick. And depending on who is left on the board at the time, I really wouldn't be that mad about it.

Who the Saints take in the draft will largely depend on who they acquire in free agency.

It will somewhat depend on that but even that could lead us to selecting BPA...last year our best FA acquisition was probably Fairley and yet we drafted Rankins with our first pick.

If we were drafting strictly for need last year, we would have acquired an OG early in the draft.

A player to keep an eye on is Charlton. Hes a true end at 275-280 pounds, is explosive as a pass rusher and very strong as a run defender. He reminds me so much of Michael Bennett. I think he is a huge possibility.
