Jaguar escapes at Audobon Zoo, kills 6 animals (3 Viewers)

I mean..I don't pretend to be a big cat expert..but can you imagine how devastating the pent up energy of a Jaguar could be when it gets out of its cage? It's not unheard of for animals to go on killing sprees without actually eating their victims. I seem to remember stories of tigers in India that were more or less serial killers and would kill out of spite from hunters destroying their forest.

this is another one of those "vicious" (i mean seriously, even a falcon could kill a cardinal) animal nfl names where the team hasn't lived up the name. i mean c'mon, when have the jacksonville jags actually been a threat. i mean, they had a better than their average season, but still, not really any more superior than the bengals, lions, panthers, cardinals, and lol 28-3 falcons., ok yeah, all of the above are better than the falcons.

In the tall grasses of southern India, tigers were stalking and killing many villagers - so someone came up with the idea that the tigers always seemed to attack from the back, so if they wore face masks on the backs of their heads, maybe it would deter the attacks. It worked - so now they all wear them:

I had a similar theory last year. In the past two years prior, in the spring, these butthole mocking birds would dive bomb me walking into my office. They seemed to only do it from the back, so I wondered how they would react to me with face mask on the back of my head. So this past spring, I remembered my plan and wanted to get a mask to keep in my desk - so if they started again, I could try this experiment.

I wanted something I could get with no effort, so I searched Amazon for something cheap that Prime would bring me. The only possibility that was cheap (and not some kind of halloween mask) was a Hillary Clinton mask (cardboard and string). The seller probably had a lot left over from Halloween 2016 and was basically giving them away). It came a few days later and I had it in my bag . . . but the attacks never came. I like to imagine that maybe they were eaten by a snake.

So I have this cardboard Hillary mask somewhere in my desk. I guess it would look really bizarre if anyone had seen me walking into work with a Hillary Clinton mask on the back of my head as I attempted to dodge diving mockingbirds.

we actually went to the zoo today (we didn't get back to the jaguar b/c the little one got done fast) but i had a realization i'd never thought of before
there's a new tiger where the white tiger used to be - the new tiger is young and active and loud - across the walkway from him is an enclosure full of deer
now they have to smell and hear this large predator all day long - they must live in constant fear (moreso than deer on the regular even)
