We have knocked out an entire week of Training Camp, and some people have come out of the dark to fight for a spot on the final roster, so who has been your camp beast so far?

I am enjoying Arthur Maulet. He has performed well, and as an undrafted player with no security, he has really fought to earn that #4 cb spot, which will lead to a lot of playing time.

Im liking me some Tre’Quan and I love that Dan Arnold has been flashing... those are my offensive picks
Defensively I would say Anzalone... he has had an interception every day it seems like. Very exciting times. This team has me giddy like a school girl. Dont make me pick one.

again:
1st let's remember the guidelines and ground rules for "Beast"

1. "underdog" - has to be a day 3 draftee or UDFA
2. new - either rookie or 1st year with Saints (but no more than 3yr vet) - exception made for Practice Squad/Futures players )Alex Jenkins is eligible)
3. outside looking in - 7th-10 WR in camp; 6th-9th LB, etc - so not expected to make team when camp starts
-- 1-3 are musts -- 4&5 are gravy
4. atypical - smaller or bigger, slower or faster than is typical for that position
5. extraordinary story - parents were Latvian circus performers, little sister was abducted by Star Trek fans

..
3rd rd draftees can't count as camp beast

Meh.

I disagree with it being this constricted. IMO, a high draft pick can still be the beast but they have to be beasting at a totally higher level than expected. Like camel through eye of the needle but it's still doable. Same thing with a vet. If a ten year vet ascends to a higher level than they've ever played before, they can be the camp beast. Third year player just has it click. Doesn't always have to be an Ojo.

Boston Scott... very close 2nd, Josh Huff..

Scott's abilities are ridiculous & I think at the end of the day, when everyone has gone home and CSP is ready to turn off the lights and leave for the day, I think he does himself a little Roscoe P. Coltrane laugh on his way out thinking of Scott..

& IF Huff can keep it clean the Saints will have their return man.. just how I see it..
