Never sober and certainly not within the last 15-20 years. Their patty melt used to be the bomb after a night of drinking, though.

Used to get takeout there quite a bit when i lived in the Warehouse Dist a couple yrs ago.. almost always got the chili cheese omelet, which was pretty good.. definitely some rough characters working there, though they were usually friendly enough.. seemed like the kinda place where you wouldnt want to know what went on in the kitchen- though that could describe most places in NOLA..

It's been a while but I used to eat there for breakfast fairly regularly. I always liked that you could sit between a politician and a cop on any given day. And it seemed to be a house requirement that a Neville brother be eating pancakes in the corner.

Yes, plenty of times after a long night at the Red Room! Not that I remember if it was good or not, but i think I felt better the next day.

25 years for me...and yes that Patty melt was MAGICAL - soaked up every ounce of alcohol i had in bloodstream at 3am. ( at least i believed it did lol)

Yeah, it got really bad after Katrina (like a lot of other favorites). I was there a few times when guests wanted to take management out for screwed up orders that they wouldn't correct, then got attitudes with them.

I remember seeing the episode he did at Oceana Grill. Saw it the week friends and I were planning to go. Am I happy I did.

Used to eat there a lot the st Charles tavern as well. That menu now looks completely wrong for that place and it’ll probably sink it

Considering I personally know one of the people in the video posted on Facebook, I would say not much.
