The Hyper-Sensitivity of Society (2 Viewers)

I'd say it's both. If people use the relative anonymity of the internet to have more open, honest discussion then minds can be changed. Or some people prefer to use that anonymity to act like jerks and nothing is accomplished except a bunch of people shouting over each other. I've had my mind changed on issues through discussion here so I know it can happen.

Yeah, I think we're agreeing. I'm just saying that while it's both, I doubt the bad that comes from it is equal to what good comes from it. From my perspective I think the good that comes from it is "more" than the bad. Others may feel differently, and I get that.

I've also had my mind changed from discussions here. Or maybe it would be more accurate to say my mind has evolved from discussions here. I think it's rare to have a sudden major realization of change in your mind (happened to me one time in memory). It's more likely that the minds of most people slowly evolve and they themselves may not even realize it unless they're super self-aware.

I think gmr's getting an Instantpot, so don't even act like this doesn't happen around here

I don't think he has time for an instant pot. I don't see how he has time for eating. He's posting here 24/7. If I could put a tracking device on him...
