Good luck from Philadelphia (1 Viewer)

It's a bit of guesswork though. That was the narrative on Foles before the Vikings NFC Championship game last year and he came out throwing bombs. It's not his clear strength but who knows what the game call will be.

Your linebackers vs Ertz will be another fun matchup to watch.
So I am curious, are most Eagles fans on board as foles being the starter next year or are most Eagles fans still on the wentz bandwagon?

Good luck OP. Watch this video, and then we’ll treat you to some ice cream.

I believe there is almost no chance Foles stays with the team due to some contract stuff. I could be wrong though. Foles will have to get traded I believe.

From what I could see from briefly perusing igglesfans.com it’s gonna be close.
However, man all they do is say the f word and just generally cuss every other word laced with constant insults. Makes me even more thankful that this board is run how Andrus runs it, and all the mods, admins etc. As that place is a cesspool.

Just the truth.

This is true.
It's really difficult to have a civil conversation as numerous posters will jump in and derail it with insults rather quickly.
Also, any attempts of humor are quickly lost on them.

First, if you had beaten the Cowboys they probably would have missed the playoffs! So thanks for that....not.

Beating the Rams essentially secured our #1 seed...so good job!

Thanks for beating the Bears! Good job!

Now, 3rd game on the road in NO is a tall ask for a team facing a well rested Saints team.

I think it will be close for a while and eventually we begin to pull away.

Congratulations on a epic finish to a season and punching your ticket when your backs were against the wall.

Go Saints!
Saints 35, Eagles 21

Yeah, that's a nasty place. I've seen em drench a kid's Dallas hoodie with beer at the game just because he had it on. Crazy.

That iggles fan site is their unofficial site and yeah it seems very crass in there. If we said hello there as a saints fan, we would be booted right away or called the worse names possible.

Greetings from the enemy. Just swung by to wish you guys good luck, some insight on our team and maybe answer some questions. I'm hoping it's a closer game than the last meeting but I think you guys are the best left still in it, and I'll be rooting for you guys going forward if things don't go our way (always had a ton of respect for the city, Payton, and Brees).

Appreciate it. As a lifelong Saints junkie who's lived in Philadelphia for a long, long time, I get plenty of respect for being a Saints fan. Eagles fans can be very tough, home and away, but I find them oddly fair, and usually very knowledgeable if insane, and my theory is they respect longtime Saints fans because they know we are also long-suffering and not posers.

Here's to a good game on Sunday.

I'm not afraid to say it but Saints are gonna put a whooping on Philly again. Book it. 38-17

Is it truly always sunny there?

They did beat the Boys. They got blatantly jobbed by the refs in their second meeting, literally from the opening kick off.

What's scary about this game is that if you guys lose, it's expected. If we lose, we'll be a laughing stock as a first seed being knocked out by a 9-7 team. There's no expectations on your side, and all the expectations on our side. Payton will get mocked over the tryhard wheelbarrow-cash stunt , while you guys will run with the lighthearted ice cream meme. It'll be embarassing. Not as embarassing as 28-3. But definitely a lot of cringe. And frankly I don't like that.

Then there's the fact that this game is Sunday Night. The worst. I have to watch all the other games, assuming we'll move on to the NFCCG, only to be kicked in the balls in the last game of the weekend by the #6 seed. Fugg that. Gimme first game Saturday morning so I can crawl into the closet if we lose.

Is Sidney Jones really still hurt? I know that Payton made a gameplan out of picking on him last time around. I wonder if its gamesmanship.

We share the same sentiments and nervousness. I love being the #1 seed, but I also like being the underdog. And Philly has thrived on being the underdog. I still think we pull this off, but in a ~1 TD game. Fans in the dome are going to need to bring their top-notch yelling game.

One note though. No Saturday morning games, only early afternoon. But point still stands - just enough time to drink away any sorrows in the event of bad news. And that will be the ONLY negative thing I say now, haha. All positive from here to Sunday!
