The ‘girls should have been flagged and fined for that helmet to helmet hit on Alvin~! The Dallas D crushed down the pocket and got to Drew too often, that LB was having too much fun which PO’ed me~! They really took the path of getting extra physical with us and ,, just thinking ahead one game, I’d LOVE to have da girls in Da Dome again and burn Dak and Zeke DOWN, all the while pouring points on the scoreboard. Coach WILL be replaying that hit (NOT CALLED) on Alvin, helmet to helmet just trying to knock him out~! BTW; Where was Ingram in that game? The replay was interrupted due to Arians announcement so some of our replay was over looked but I didn’t see ANY runs from Mark. Anyone else watch? What did YOU think about the situation and how the game was “NOT” called and WE got flagged for tacky-tack calls against Dak~! I mean, well, YOU KNOW? Right? That MUST NOT happen again and especially in OUR DOME~!

Zero interest in watching that one. Had a work event that night, which ended up being a good thing. Any word on whether they'll rerun our Rams game, though? Perhaps if both teams win this weekend.

The hit to Kamara was clearly a foul and should have been flagged. Besides the helmet to helmet contact, the defender left his feet while leading with his helmet.

I have to assume that the officials simply were blocked from seeing that hit and missed it. However, a lot has been made of that play and a fine was even later imposed on the Dallas player. This tells me that the officials will be particularly on guard not to blow such a call again if there's a similar occurrence in the future.

We can't change it now. We just have to hope they get it right if it happens again. But it ain't the first time nor the last that we will see such negligence by an NFL officiating crew.

The hit on AK was egregious. When Troy Aikman, who had to sit down the entire game because he was so “excited” even says that it was clear penalty, you know it was blatant and obvious. With the way that entire game went... that 1 play (the no-call) was maybe the biggest play of the game. Instead of the Saints being 1st and 10 in FG range, down 13-10, it was Saints punting and giving Dallas the ball back with a lead in the 4th.
Still grinds my gears to this day!!!!

Ingram was largely rendered ineffective against Dallas. Their LBs just shut him down.

Out OF curiosity, do you TALK like this?

Depending on how old YOU are, I’m quoting The Originator, The ONE TRUE Y’at if there ever was one, WWL Sportsman Broadcaster, Hap Glaudi, and say; “ I speak ( and write) as I please.” That’s it, so, What’s Up? I was also born and spent most of my younger years in The Upper and Lower 9th and then moved to Arabi and on to Chalmette High>! Therefore, if you ARE writing a book; just keep the facts straight and that’s all I’d ask. Then, as always, It’s GEAUX SAINTS GEAUX~!

Well, Alvin didn’t find much success either and that helmet to helmet hit DID change the “flow” of the 4th quarter where it was looking like The SAINTS were gaining momentum, as Drew is apt to do, yet, the hit, no call, had to punt, AK was even less effective and our WRs were getting hit early and often as they were blasted on every catch with no YACs. Sad kind of game for our season. Let’s see how the ‘girls handle Goff and Gurley. In many ways I look to see the ‘girls again under different circumstances.

Of course, they got physical. It was their game plan. But then they saw they were getting away with it, so, of course, they weren't going to stop.

Hap's Point After is a memory of mine as well ;)

You so “matter of fact” about it, I don’t know who’s side you on? Come on wit it~! Those dogs played so out of bounds on late hits, holds on the Lines and secondaries, I wouldn’t have been surprised to have seen Jerry Bones handing our Hundies to the refs right before the game~! Then, forget about abusing Drew but if Pressmycoat ( I KNOW that’s not his name , OK?) got a hand to the face mask, grasp or not, our Defense was called out on it and look 13-10 at THEIR HOUSE is NOT a butt whipping by ANY means and that after we had been on such a run we beat the #2 SEED by TEN just a few weeks prior. I do mind the Refs interfering in the game but I DO enjoy watching the battles when it returns to real physical football but GAWD PLEASE Child, Keep it, at the very least, equal and even. Don’t be so biased as to over look blatant concussion type hits to the head but DO call against The SAINTS for a sketchy face mask call and do it TWICE in ONE DRIVE to keep it so Dallas WINS. Recall, one of our DBs was called for PI , IN the End Zone giving the girls the gift of the game in a critical situation.

Naw, go ahead and make excuses, ignore the obvious and make it “appear” as if the ‘girls were innocent and it was The SAINTS who made all of the bad plays but that’s NOT the game I witnessed especially given the hits on Drew Brees! They lost and I’m not going to blame it on anything except The SAINTS never matched the ‘girls intensity and that’s on The Coaches and their schemes and I’ll take that yet I want it to be clear, those Refs that night were not calling a fair game and put The SAINTS in some rough spots. The ‘girls did crash down on our RBs and hit Drew often, causing an extreme disadvantage. Agree or not, we took on a red hot dallas team and held them to 13 when they were crushing opponents from there on and OUR SAINTS got stymied and held to 10 with little to no Rushing game and our WR getting hammered. THAT CANNOT and WILL NOT happen should The ‘Girls get past the Rams and come to the Dome. We already have beaten Philly so I expect the same result this time around as long as Our SAINTS are ready for a physical game and Drew can hit our guys in-stride so we can gain YACs and opens up the middle for our RBs to gash and maul them in the Run Game~! You KNOW Philly is going to study that dallas game and the Steeler’s games to see just how effective either of them kept us close.

Winning the T/O battle will be KEY as we MUST hold onto the ball and expect the Big Hits and collapsing the pocket down on Drew~! That’s the KEY to beating The SAINTS but typing it and DOING IT are two VERY DIFFERENT things no doubt~! We’re weak on The “O” Line and the back end of our coverage so I anticipate attacks such as those but these two and a half weeks of prep should prove very useful for Coach Payton and our DC to come up with new approaches to use our best players and put them in the best possible positions to WIN their respective battles~! The END~! (finally)

Do you recall his; “ I Speak As I Please” segment and maybe the name of his column in the T/P also? I used to love reading his prose but his colorful accent and verbiage made me proud to be influenced by all of my old school relatives who said; “zinc” when they meant “sink” and “earl” when they were talking about the “oil” in their cars and any # of Yatican City vernacular very specific to OUR CITY which represented a specific time and place and even neighborhood when you could actually TELL what neighborhood they came from just by hearing their words and usage and pronunciations. I know I’m way off topic now but still there is a legacy which is fading with “OUR” ( I’m assuming we’re contemporaries if you recall Hap~!) GENERATION and THAT is a shame for if The "Yatican City” starts sounding like any other place in America or the World? Well, the change will be a lost legacy and a less colorful World indeed. WHODAT~! Now, Where ELSE would come up with THAT sort of chant/cheer? I know the Bangles use WhoDay but that doesn’t even make sense what so ever and not even close to how cool The WHODAT NATION is and has become, IMHO~! GEAUX SAINTS GEAUX~!

That means they beat us at the OL, we didn't move them and clear the running lanes...

Either way the OL if we Dallas again is going to have to take it to them.
