Taking a moment to focus on the off-season; what prospects should we look at potentially signing in the off-season? I remember looking at something and seeing Earl Thomas III as someone to potentially picking up, but I cant even back it up by finding if he's even a free agent or not.

also, if yall have a site or something that shows current Free agents please post :)

No specific order...All are of importance:

FS-(Earl Thomas)...Make an argument that Marcus Williams/Coleman/Bell duo is a good enough safety rotation in pass coverage.
DT-Gerald McCoy (if released)...Onyemata and Davison are exceptional rotational players. Capable of starting. However, a dominant all-pro like McCoy can make a difference even though he's been getting older. I've seen one too many times where we can't get any pressure from rushing just the front 4.
TE-Jimmy Graham (if released) or another TE. WE NEED A TE.
LB-another LB for depth/upgrade over Klein
DE-another DE for depth. Can't get enough of pass rushers.
CB-If PRob isn't on the roster, then we need someone who can cover the slot.
O-line-another G or T for depth. Can't get enough O-line help.

I've listed 7 positions here that I believe should be upgraded or added for depth. Please go through each one and tell me whether or not you agree and why. I didn't list the WR position here as a position to focus on because I think Thomas/Ginn/Bryant tandem is a good group. However, you can also make an argument to upgrade the #2 WR position.

I'd say in order of importance:

1) TE
2) OL
3) WR
4) DT

It seems weird not to have more Defensive Positions higher on this list but I just think we're pretty solid for the most part on Defense. Our glaring hole right now has to be TE and WR while we could use better OL Depth.

Some notable TE's that will be available:

Eric Ebron - Had a major season with Colts and is still young. He'll want quite a bit of $$.
Jared Cook - I think this one is more likely than Ebron but still a bit of a stretch for us. We have the money...I'm just gunshy about expensive TEs
Jesse James - This one is the most likely in my opinion. He's an excellent blocker and still a receiving threat. He shouldn't be terribly expensive either.

Some WR's that will be available:

Randall Cobb - Interesting...
Golden Tate - Again...interesting...
Dez?

Some OL that will be available:

OT - Daryl Williams (He'll be too expensive as depth and I don't think he's better than TA or Ram)
C - Matt Paradis (Pass. Unger is still just fine)
OT - Ja'Wuan James
OG - Rodger Saffold

Some DTs that will be available:

Grady Jarrett (Would be great to steal him from Falcons but unlikely)
Sheldon Richardson - Meh
Ndamukong Suh - Definitely a no for me. I was so glad we didn't sign him this past offseason.

Re-sign Ingram
Get a Tight End
Receiver help (Dez?) Not much else out there
Develop young receivers
More OL and DL depth
I like the back end of our defense. PJ actually played well in the slot at times this year. Plus, Prob will be back

Any speed WR on market? Also, what about Larry Fitzgerald as a slot WR? For veteran TE, Antonio Gates is available.

This pains me to say this, but I’d sign anyone who gives us a chance to blow out everyone next year. Even Kareem Hunt, and no I don’t condone what he did, but I’m to the point where I’d do just about anything for a chance at another title. The Rams have a player who has repeatedly stomped on other players and a guy who fought/choked one of his college coaches. And the Pats, well, they have zero moral compass, signs whoever (in the past), and gets rewarded greatly.

I like what you got besides maybe Jimmy Graham. I think the draft is gonna be pretty good for TEs, as for receivers they got some good ones looking for a job. Like i just say, Larry Fitzgerald, or Tate would be nice if they don’t want an arm and a leg

We need a TE for sure. I would make a big push for Jesse James. FA O-Linemen will probably be expensive. We're pretty good at finding OL in the draft, that's the route I would go. If McCoy is released we need to bring him on board. McCoy would be excellent depth along our D-Line. We could also use depth at CB & WR.

My Dad actually ran into Earl's Dad not too long after the whole thing with Earl wanting out of Seattle. Being an avid Saints fan my Dad said that Earl could come to N.O. and get a ring. Apparently Earl isn't a fan of N.O., because his Dad basically said there was no way that was going to happen. Take it for what it is...
