One minor unrelated thing Andrus about the stories on the home page. Would it be possible to get links on the home page for the "full story" with each story that's listed on the home page? As it is now you have to click on either the title of the article or "continue" which brings you to yet another SR page before you can get to the link for the full story. Hope that makes sense.
Yup, on mobile I could hit the lightning bolt and get the new post. Now it takes me to the news feeds then I can hit new post.
On my desktop, I could hit the what’s new tab and get new posts.
Funny thing about that. A couple of months ago I added a RSS news feed as a sub-forum to the Pelican board. The idea was to have Pelicans news very handy for our Pels fans. So I grabbed some feeds and set them up to post on said sub-forum.. What I didn't realize is that one of the feeds was posting directly to the main Pels board, and not the sub-forum where it was supposed to post, so when I looked last night, there were 5 pages of news on the Pels main forum.
That was an error on my part. I was surprised that no one ever reported it, but I finally fixed it. It just shows how much attention I pay to the Pelicans. I wish that I was more interested, but I lost interest in the NBA a long time ago, and cannot seem to regain interest. I try!
Anyway, there is an ongoing Pelicans thread on the EE board, I guess because there isn't enough participation on the Pelicans board. So since you brought that up, perhaps it is better to just play it by ear on whether or not to add an AAF board.
It took some doing, and I don't know how much it is going to slow that board load time, especially under heavy traffic yet, but I added a feature much like we used to have on the old vBulletin platform where you can see the users viewing the forums and threads, with counters on the Forum home and Thread lists pages.
If it is a problem, there are some caching options that I can look at and try before I give up on it.

Thanks! I'm simply putting the member contributions to work.
A few minutes ago I set the main articles which come up first to do just that. However, as you scroll down below the "Latest posts from our Message Boards" which now follows those teasers, I can't really do that with the "Saints News feed", which is a feed coming from the "Saints RSS News feed" board. So that extra step is still required where that news serving feature is concerned.
