Creepy Stories (1 Viewer)

for the rare times i let my dogs sleep in my bed, i have to where pants, not pj pants, but pants with a zippered peepee hole.

one night, i woke up because i felt something fondling my crotch. damn dog decided he wanted to lick the sweat between the leg and genital region.

still gives me nightmares.

this is why i drink. yep, that has to be it.
skeet skeet

You conveniently left out the part where you told the dog, “well, you might as well finish...”

I enjoy these stories....well....maybe enjoy isn't the right word. I'm interested by these stories. Unfortunately I always find reasons to believe an obvious answer. The Elisa story to me seems like obvious suicide/accindental death due to mental illness.
She was given a room based on complaints of odd behavior.
Diagnosed as bipolar.
I'm guessing she hit the button on elevator to hold door open.
Was talking to herself.
Getting access to the roof, stripping, and getting in tank are all very plausible.

If you've ever been around someone bipolar not on their meds they can get next level bizarre. My neighbors adult son was bipolar and came over looking for his parents once. I noticed early on he was acting strange so I talked to him in the garage instead of inviting him in. Good call. It really freaked me out and I never trusted him again after that.

I tend to agree with your theory on Elisa. But what a bizarre way to commit suicide. It's hard to believe she stripped, opened the tank with clothes in hand and bothered to close the lid while apparently treading water. I know a couple of bipolar people also, but that's strange behavior for even a manic or depressive episode.

I get sleep paralysis fairly often. I don't have any particular creepy story, honestly at this point it's so normal that I don't mind so much. Used to scare the hell out of me though. Still does on occasion. Started when I was a little kid. Never saw anything then though just an overwhelming feeling of dread and an inability to move or really speak. As I've gotten older I've seen things, people, felt like I was at the whim of some unknown force, etc. Since I've gotten older it's only really freaked me out a few times. Most of the time I realize what's going on at some point and go "Oh this again" then make myself wake up.

I've had it a few times. I never saw anything, but not being able to control your limbs or come fully awake is terrible.

Edit: There is a good documentary on the subject. The Nightmare. I think you can still find it on Netflix.

Thanks, I’ll check it out. I get the science behind it.

It’s a weird thing to experience for sure. I wonder if my beliefs play a part in my seeing what I’ve seen but it’s not like I see Jesus or anything. Usually just shadows. Like I said I’ve come to accept it as part of my life. In my experience the auditory hallucinations are the worst part of the whole experience and they often have nothing to do with what I’m seeing.
