Anyone Here Taken the GRE Recently? (1 Viewer)

Wife is getting ready to take it and she is bombing the quantitative reasoning portion. The advanced Math seems to be nearly impossible for her to teach herself.

Any ideas?

I took it 10 years after I left undergrad and was stunned at how much test taking skills I lost
I usually scored low to mid 90s on any standardized test like that
I think I got low 80s on gre
What dtc said - take the class

Not recently but I hopped it once when I was in Lowell and had to go to Grand Rapids.

I can't help much other than wishing her luck. When I took the GRE years and years ago, we were scratching our answers on stone tablets.

I took it 100yrs ago.... I just recall doing many dozens of practice tests to get the timing down.

I wholly endorse the 'take the class' approach. We did this with our son for SAT and it helped tremendously, even though he was a pretty good test-taker...

The problem is there aren’t any classes near me. There is some stuff online, but it’s just not the same as in-person teaching.
