I think Shierels(?) is gone, I think Harris wrote that walking paper for him.

I keep hearing "we" (the fans) haven't seen anything from Butler, and I agree with that, but "we" (the Saints coaches) have, and apparently they see a role and value, I don't believe they will let him off the 53.

Carr may end up being a surprise cut. Surprise in the fact that he is a 3rd year in system, and they seem to be high on him for depth.

Carr doesn't make my meter move either way, and I hope to see some of this Butler razzle dazzle we keep hearing about. But those 2 and the PS 2, could be shuffle. But imho I believe Harris is a lock. CSP has been adamantly addressing ST this offseason.

I don’t know but here are a couple of thoughts.
Carr didn’t do much, so I would rather gamble on one of the rookies.
Kirkwood should be a lock.
Harris is worth a least a try.
This would leave a spot open, and while Butler is the option with the most potential, Grayson could be the winner because of his speed. Behind Ginn we don’t have other players with that speed.

Hey, no worries, if the young guys clear waivers and land on our practice squad, then we get to continue developing them and they continue to get more familiar with our playbook. It worked out for Kirkwood last season.

Then in the event that another team comes along and wants to steal them, we have the option of paying them top PS pay or bringing them up to the roster to keep them with the team.

I think that Simmie Cobb and Gayson are in a dead heat for the last spot but Brees has always excelled with a big slot guy which is why I think that Humprey might be of more value than carr.

Humprey is Carr but bigger.
