Without both of their TD's this game would have been a big fat L.
Instead, we won.

Also props to Ted Ginn, saw some posts about him during the camp that he should be cut : 7/7 101 yards (65 in the last 2 drives), he was great
He had to stay in and chip, double block JJ Watt a lot tonight. The only person whose absence was kinda felt tonight on offense was Jared Cook. I really expected him to be in more of the game plan. Especially in the red zone/ shorth half of the field.
Also very veteran move to just fall on the ground immediately after the catch, and get the timeout called with :02 seconds to get the clock stopped.True dat! I think we fans get caught up in camp and fail to remember that some veterans just have “it” and know how to play the game when it counts.
Ginn is definitely one of those guys.
This...veteran savvyAlso very veteran move to just fall on the ground immediately after the catch, and get the timeout called with :02 seconds to get the clock stopped.
A lot of receivers try to get that extra move in, or allow themselves to get held up and the clock expires in that situation even with coaches yelling the play before to just immediately fall down.
