I do agree with the statement by Talib, but the game is in their heads.

The question is whether it will provide extra motivation to the Rams to come out with a clean victory... like Dante Fowler said.

However, at least one Rams player held out hope that perhaps a victory over the Saints on Sunday would end the chatter about last season's no-call.

"Maybe," Fowler said, "we can kind of put it to rest for a little bit."

I hope saints can match the desperation of the Rams.

As I expected, this matchup will be overblown. It’s only the second game of the season. Its not about the Rams, and the refs LAST year. Waay past time to move on from that!

It’s about US, in the NOW!

Whether it’s the Rams or anybody else, I jus wanna see US continue to improve on things we did well, and work on, n fix some issues we had last week, win the game n come out healthy.

So for now:

Never hate your enemy. It affects your judgment.

It ain’t personal, it’s just business.

True, my issue is not with the Rams but with the League and its policies, practices, and procedures. I didn't cancel my NFL subscription because of something the Rams did.

That said, there is considerable tension between these two ball clubs. I think the Rams will feel extra pressure to prove they are "worthy" of the SB trip last year by doing some crazy stuff to beat the Saints this year. Because of this I think they may be over-aggressive while the Saints are in a steady attack mode adding even more pressure, the situation favors us. Monday night, while losing to Houston ...at the 11-point low spot no less, I saw no panic in the Saints and that confidence has got to have the attention & concern of the Rams.

Yeah, I don't really have a problem with Talib saying that. Whitworth's comments after the game and the Super Bowl were the ones I thought that went overboard in antagonizing Saints/Saints fans.

If I were a Rams player or fan, I'd probably be saying something like "That was a bad call, but refs choke sometimes just like wide open receivers drop easy TD passes in the end zone or kickers miss chip shot field goals."

rams did the right thing in the NFCCG. the guy knew he was gonna get a penalty, be a first down, but it was better than giving up a TD. and the ref didnt call it.

same as if williams would've smoked diggs in 2017 and gave them one more play instead of whiffing on the tackle and giving up a touchdown there, maybe we wouldve been in the NFCCG that year.

i have no issues with the rams from the NFCCG, i still want a 49-7 win, but i want that every week. i'm more worried about the refs for 16 games.

Watch out for the fake punt this time. It’s going to be called again.

Oh no -- we got rid of Biegel!

(If I recall correctly (and I'm probably not) vs the Steelers, it was DD who initially sniffed out the fake punt and made the initial contact, then Biegel came in to slam it down.)

OK, found it:
