I ran across these videos of the actual surgery. Pretty quick. The key is "the re-approximation of the ligament". Where they put that post is the money shot. Too long, and he's out for 6 months. Too short, and he throws like Uncle Rico.

First up, University of Virginia video:

Here is Dr. Shin himself. My gosh, this man is a hand genius. The whole WhoDat World hinges on his shoulders.

Surgery to be performed possibly here?

I feel like I’ve learned more on hand surgery and UCL tears in a couple hours on this forum than some medical students.

I've learned how to do lots of things by watching YouTube videos; fix a fridge compressor, fix a laundry dryer, fix a lawnmower, multiple auto repairs, etc. Now I can do hand surgery.

How much are you charging to repair middle fingers? Both of mine automatically pop up whenever I see the Falcons or their filthy fans.

First I need to find a YouTube video. Be right back...

Thank you so much for posting this. I’m a bit of a geek when it comes to this stuff. I have always gone to YouTube to watch videos of every surgery I’ve ever had. What I can’t do is watch videos of anything my wife or kids need done.
