Watching the first episode now. Is it time for Crisis yet?

There is a tie in at the very end, and looks like more next week. Overall, I liked the episode.

Yep, same here. It was a good start to the season. And I think that we just don't comprehend how big this crossover event is going to be. They've been building on it and they continue to build on it now.

They've said that before we watch the Crisis crossover we should re-watch the Elseworlds crossover.

Good start to the season. I've long wanted more Killer Frost and now it looks like that's gonna happen, but now talking about changing her name, ehhh, I'd rather her keep her name, but I get why she might change it.

Supergirl first episode wasn't bad either. It's still a bit too cheesy and in your face about hot button issues, but I think there's potential for better plot lines this season.

Looking forward to seeing Arrow, final season, sad to see it go.

Just good to see some fresh content for the DC shows. I hate the long wait between seasons, and also the mid-season winter break.

Batwoman, on the other hand, was legitimately terrible. Ruby Rose delivering every line with the same flat inflection and like she's speaking through clinched teeth and some of the most ham fisted expository dialogue I've ever heard. Things like "You have been my stepsister for a decade" and "you are a female Bruce Wayne" delivered in a way no one has ever spoken in the history of language.

I refused to watch it at all because of the amount of "woke" and SJW crap I've heard they're forcing through it. Nope, I just want capes and arse kicking, please.

I watched it and came away pretty disappointed. I enjoyed Gotham, but one of the things I didn't like about Gotham was their depiction of Bruce Wayne. So, they go a make a Batwoman who looks exactly like a female Bruce Wayne from Gotham...ugh.

I'm not sure I'll watch another episode. I'll probably give it one more look. If it's not much improved from the first one, I'm deleting it from my scheduled recordings.

I made it through last season's Supergirl, which was really pushing an agenda, okay, so I'm going to give them a little more of a chance before I decide.

Black Lightning though, after only 3 episodes I couldn't stand any more of their Black Lives Matter propaganda.

I liked the first episode of Flash. I really liked the black hole guy, and with Cisco leaving the show (or at least having a reduced role), I assumed they were setting him up as a replacement. Overall, it was a fun episode (especially the music choices), and I've got enough history with Mohinder Suresh from Heroes to be interested in where his villain goes. I just know he CAN'T be worse than Cicada(s) last year. They were TERRIBLE.

I watched episode 1 of Batwoman and it already felt like a chore. I'll be fair and give it a few episodes, but honestly, I wonder if they even make it the requisite 3 or 4 seasons before they need to officially introduce Bruce Wayne for a ratings bump and he leaves her with a "Gotham's in good hands, but I'll be here when you need" before going to continue working on whatever's keeping him away now.

Totally unrelated show in a totally unrelated universe, but this past week's episode of Titans on DC Universe was probably the best episode the show's produced so far. It was almost exclusively about Connor Kent. I really enjoyed it.

Agreed.

I didn’t have any problems with “SJW agendas” or whatever some people were whining about/afraid of.

But the pacing, line delivery (in general, but especially with Ruby Rose), and lazy, exposition-heavy dialogue was very bad.

Hopefully it was just common pilot problems (I haven’t watched episode 2 yet), but I’m not optimistic.

Tonight's episode....that Crisis scene....wow.

I didn't even really notice much of it in the pilot. There was some boiler plate girl power stuff but nothing too egregious or preachy. The show was bad on its own merits, not because of socio-political agendas. Haven't watched the second episode so can't speak to that being more or less of an issue.

Will check out Flash tomorrow.

Can I just go on the record and say that Iris is the worse character on this show?
