- Defense wasn’t ready for Clowns to come out running the ball... by the time they adjusted, Lattimore was out hurt.

- Losing Lattimore was huge. Even though the Clowns didn’t pass for much, they attacked the void left by Lattimore whenever they needed.

- Offense looked sluggish and sloppy all day... and it started with the OL.

- Ginn has a couple big drops.

- The neutral zone infraction that was called a false start killed a drive.

- Very untimely flags helped the Clowns a lot, and hurt the Saints just as much.

- Pass rush was anemic at best.

- Next week will be a real test to this team’s guts and resolve.

A loss to Tampa and you can kiss post season aspirations goodbye.

We'll see how badly we want it.

Why?

Sometimes you get in a rut then you get out of it. I don't think I've ever seen 3 regular season losses end a teams season.

Lots of ultimatums going around after an ugly loss on a bad day.

This is a playoff team but not sure it’s a championship team. We’re desperately missing a true number 2 receiver. The pass rush has to get better
I wanted to believe the team was over the hump as one that can play the hard nosed game at the Line of Scrimmage but the way they got their lunch money stolen today and just tried to keep finessing around it felt like a major step back.

Last year was the shot. Hope they prove me wrong.
As far as I’m concerned we won it all last year.

Just saying a loss this coming week and the first round bye is gone. And winning on the road in the playoffs is just not our thing.

We always have a clunker or two, no matter how good we are. I wish it wasn’t against Atlanta, but they switched up their staff during the bye and caught us on the chin. Until I see us continue to play this poorly, I’m just chalking this up to that and moving on to next week.

SP's M.O. has always been: When the Going gets Tough, SP gets CUTE!

Today wasn’t cute.
Dissapointing to see he still has that virus in him after all these years.

Wanted to think the experience coaching with Teddy would have maybe taught him to keep the running game in the rotation and not try so hard to be a genius.

You cannot judge an entire season off one bad game - GB, KC, and NE have all had a clunker this season. Everyone is prone to have a bad game or two and we definitely had one today.
They need to regroup from this arsewhipping and bounce back in Tampa next week.

Ok ok. Now how will Saints respond? That's the biggest question. So at Tampa, home against Panthers then @Falcons. I can see this as a wake up kick in the arse for Saints to get their it together. 6 game win streak snapped. Just like they lost to Rams 27-9 then went on win streak. So hope that can be the same. Lost to Atl 26-9 then go on another win streak to close the season out. Everybody got to get it together. Hope this lost make them mad and go on a tear.

I hope I am totally wrong, but what I witnessed today was inexcusable - and probably won't be a Quick Fix!

Reminded me of a young team that thought it no longer needed to put in the work and the effort needed to be a Championship Team!

And worse: the top coaches behaving the same way!

I seem to remember us going 13-0, then losing to Dallas and a very average Tampa Bay team. Not sure how that ended though

The difference between then and now is that Brees was a whole lot younger and we had a deep ball then we don't have the Deep threat anymore that's why defense is player 10 yard from the line of scrimmage they are not afraid of us going over the top
