This game reminded me so much of the Rams game earlier this season, even the score was almost the same. Nothing seemed to work and too many penalties. I lay this one entirely on Payton. He didn’t have his team ready.

I disagree. The rams game was an emotional punch in the gut that the refs wouldn’t let us recover from. Every bit of momentum was snuffed out as soon as it appeared.
