I know most of us never expected to go 5-0 with Drew out. I’ll fully admit I didn’t. So we won 2 or 3 of those games that I thought we’d lose. Making this loss a bit easier for me to handle.

I can’t say what will happen moving forward with certainty, other than we will have much better effort after that debacle.

Your positivity is appreciated. I myself will not “panic” unless we lose next week. I get being upset we lost today and the way we did, but this board (like all) is so radical after losses. Next Sunday can’t get here fast enough. I trust our boys.

Same. I’ll only panic if we lay an egg next week too.

Glass half-full? After today’s game, no reason to stop drinking a half-full drink. Heck, I would refill it several times, and leave it empty.

I question your commitment.

There’s no doom and gloom on my part. I’m disappointed, of course, but I can think of a lot of positives to keep in mind. Usually after a stinker like this, Payton will light a fire under this team. That o-line play was an anomaly. Won’t happen again. Those defensive penalties will be addressed.

Cook will continue to gain chemistry with Brees and be that “2nd receiver” that we’ve been needing so much. TQ made a heck of a play today. I look for increased growth from him, as well. Kamara will get an increased workload and hopefully dominate like he did during the start of the season.

It was a wake up call, for sure. We are a great team, but records don’t determine outcome. However, this is the same team that has won 7 games in a season we all felt might be doomed when Brees went down. We still control our own destiny, and are in good shape, so long as we take care of business. I suspect we will.
