In the last three games M.T has caught 33 of 36 passes thrown his way. That's good for a 91.6 catch rate percentage. He has also collected 395 yards through the air. That averages to just under 132 yards per a game. I can't think of any receiver who has ever been this hot. Sure there are plenty who might have gained more yards in that span. But I'm sure no one has been this sure handed and had to make as many tough catches than M.T in the last few games.

CGM is the best WR in football. I don't care what anybody says. This dude balls out no matter the coverage or who we have throwing the ball. No receivers opposite him, double coverage, doesn't mattter. He is just a man child!

At this point in his career, he has earned the right to sport such a legendary twitter tag. Mike is un-guardable. Even when he's blanketed, he uses his strong hands to pick the ball out of the air and secure it while the db is fighting to break it up. If he ends the season with over a 145 catches and an 80% catch rate, he should be right under Wilson and Jackson in the MVP race if they keep playing the way they are.

Can't Guard Mike is the Man... no doubt about it!

The Saints also once had a prolific WR by the name of Wes Chandler (...still don't understand why Bum Phillips let him go to the Chargers).

Wes became the first player in NFL history to have 1000 receiving yards in just 8 games. CGM is on pace to beat that (for an 8-game stretch).

He is incredible. So thankful we got him. If he were a bit faster I’d say he would be almost the perfect WR.

He's very quick and agile, perfect for Drew. His long strides hamper his 40 time, takes him about 4 steps to get to top speed. Once at top speed, he's not going to get run down from behind. I bet his top speed at the end of the 40 is better than some "fast" guys.

He's starting to get a lot of MVP buzz now.

That's from the Saints writer at the Athletic but I've seen being pushed for MVP in a lot of other places as well.

It’s funny, we see this but no one will give him that title outside of us as fans.

But can we please get him some help... he can't do it all himself :idunno:
Yeah man, at this point its getting VERY FRUSTRATING that he doesn't have adequate help or any other Wr to compliment him. If we fans know this and are concerned about it, what are the people at the top of the organization thinking about? They have to know this as well right? I'm literally telling this to my roommate every night. Because it's scary and super frustrating to think...what if CGM goes down. Super scary to say the least.

To me, it's like we're(front office) is a little overconfident about things like this. Not the first time we've been here either. We're 7-2, Lattimore goes down we make no moves. I mean hell, sign someone, anyone, to show we are at least serious about winning a championship. By God, who's going to cover Mike Evan's and Godwin? I have more faith than a little bit but I'm not feeling good about things. Peat goes down, and what'd you know, nothing. It's almost as if we never do anything or try thinking ahead about what ifs, especially those huge what ifs like Michael Thomas. I have all the faith in the world but at this point, I'm soooooo not confident in things right now, especially decision making or should I say, a lack thereof...

In before this turns to discussing our lack of other receiving options...

oh dang, never mind.

Just give the guy his props. Even though everyone in the stadium knows the ball is going to him, defenses STILL can't stop him.

Yea, and if you add to that him being a Possession guy who spends a lot of time in the middle of the field, and not a speed guy who can easily seperate without running great routes, then you can really understand the greatness of MT.

What is Ginn's catch rate percentage?

Too late. Any chance we could combine all “the sky is falling” threads ( we need a #2 WR and Brees is totally washed up and hurting the team) into one?

He should be mvp if season ended today. He might crush receiving records and provided an enourmous % of our production.
