NFL Has any QB surpassed this Aaron Brooks stat (rushing & passing)? (1 Viewer)

Thanks bro!

Was going from memory.

Yep two of the td drives were less than 50 yards. One was 15. The other was 45.

Look at the last three drives Jesus that is 6 yards total!

Yep thanks for posting that

Your tickets didn't help your memory I'm assuming. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Yep I sure do but buying tickets doesn't make YOU an expert. Now what level of football did you play that makes you think you're qualified to tell Mr. Brooks about your football expertise to his face big man?

It comes with the job! I spend thousands on a product I am allowed to voice my opinion.

Back in the old days before the internet made donut holes have a voice before Yelp and sheet like that you had to have a pair enough to do it yourself.

What you don't have a pair?

You get to voice your opinion on any product.

You know what they say? Opinions are like butt holes everyone has one. Just so happens that your opinion is a loud and wrong one. I express my opinion about things I actually know. Football happens to be one of those things. Just because I paid to attend The Masters doesn't mean I'm qualified to walk up to Tiger Woods and tell him my thoughts on his swing. Fanatics like you are part of the problem we see in sports now. A ticket doesn't make you an expert or a tough guy.

Your memory needs to improve.

On a day we didn't have it going, when Terry Allen rushed for 21 yards on 16 carries and we lost Joe Horn in the first quarter, Brooks put up a 111.5 passer rating while running for his life and throwing to a bunch of journeymen, and quite successfully -- two sacks, but 10 carries for 26 yards -- he was flushed a lot but continued to make plays.

The defending Super Bowl champs came in angry as hell and bent on revenge, and he threw four TD passes to a bunch of nobodies with no help on offense. Yes, the D did a great job on Faulk in the running game (although he had 99 yards receiving), and our DL got pressure on the vastly overrated Kurt Warner and forced some picks, but Brooks carried us that day, and I'm sorry that bothers you. All I can really remember about that game was crying tears of joy and thinking about the folks who were no longer around to enjoy it with us after all that losing.

But you keep on keeping on with whatever else you got going on there.

People tend to forget that Terry Allen was the 3rd-stringer and Willie Jackson was the only receiving weapon. Chad Morton didn't have his breakout game till the following week. Robert Wilson was playing with one hand. It all fell apart the next season, but for one brief moment, AB brought hope to Saints fans. It's easy to look at it from the perspective of the incredible success of Payton's tenure, but to that point, that was an amazing season.

personally dont want my QB to ever rush for a 100yds in a game.... Its entertaining but that QB rarely carries the the team for a SB win....

I know some may not see it like this but Haz and AB kinda represented a modernization of the Saints to me. I will always respect what they did for the organization and oddly enough they brought Loomis on board (even though he was viewed as a bean counter at that time).

True, but no one expected the Saints to go to the SB that year. That game against the 9ers was entertaining because I remember Terrelle Smith blowing people up constantly. McCarthy never helped AB grow as a passer and AB was never the vocal leader Brees is, to say nothing of the talent gulf.

I'll never forgive Haslett for turning Deuce from Kamara v1.0 into a plodder. One of the countless boneheaded moves Haz made, and I'm really happy London Fletcher was the one who put him on blast. London got to see him as an opposing coach and as his coach, so he had a unique perspective to share.

Nope he was bad.

Never developed a game. After the first year of film on him he never had success again because he could not change. Sandlot play will only get you so far.

Yeah, his sandlot play made him millions of dollars and got him inducted into the Saints Hall of Fame. Cry me a river.

My man Iggy your words are true. You know who are the tough those who serve the country, ones who make this a better place to be and those who fight tooth, nail and sacrifice themselves so thier family gave a better life.

You are absolutely right. Anyone has the right to voice their opinion on any product. I would argue though that sometimes that opinion says a lot more about the person voicing the opinion than it does about the product itself.

Just wish he had been a better QB overall. One game he would look like a world beater, then he was mediocre. Basically, he was a slightly above average QB. Not dissing on him, but you could see the difference in that position immediately when Drew got here and replaced him.

sheet he was all world! My bad

I was wrong he played one more season and no body but the garbage raiders would give him a job. Sorry my bad

Yes he was the QB for the saints first playoff win with a pick and two fumbles that were recovered by the saints. I will give him that one.

I give much more credit to everyone else involved like Sammi Knight with two picks. Or even Butterfinger who muffed the punt.

Let's look at the next week?

Nah you guys don't want to do that one.

Lamar Jackson has a decent shot this year. He also has a good shot to join Brooks in this category. He already has 3 games with
100+ yds rushing. All he needs is a 400 yd passing day. His best so far is 324 in the season opener against Miami.
