Saints being officiated differently from opponents (1 Viewer)

The internet can be a powerful thing when used correctly. If #statsshowRiveronvendetta or #riveronjobbingsaints or something along that nature started trending on twitter with an address to a site that shows that stats, all it would take for it to blow up would be for the right site or media outlet to pick it up and start making comparisons to other teams for it become a thing. Imagine taking those same stats for every team and then comparing them to see if the Saints stats were an outlier to the rest. It would be something that couldn't be ignored.
I wished that I knew how to go about this. I would think that if we could do this on a highly followed twitter account, that would be best right? Also, I have mixed emotions about relying on these stats, alone, because as others have mentioned, these stats don't show the timing of the calls and can't measure the effect the "no calls" that . Yes, we get a lot of penalties, but it is how the NFL uses those penalties to shape the outcome of a game that we see on a weekly basis, that these stats won't reveal.

in my best attempt to sound like MF DOOM "the nfl is fake like wretslin' but i'd be jake the snake jumping of the top rope on mescalin"

More data:

These penalties always seem to happen on critical downs too, especially late in the play once the play's result is virtually determined.

We were one of the least penalized teams in the NFL last year, and now all of a sudden, we're one of the worst in the NFL?

This is just pure insanity. The gap between us and the second largest differential is huge! There isn't a larger gap between any other team. This is clear evidence that the Saints are being officiated differently, and by a massive margin. This is bananas! If these stats are accurate, this needs to be sent out to Florio or anyone who can expand and point out the obvious to a large audience.

Referees have always had "unconscious" biased towards one team over another. They go into a game expecting one team to win and that influences how they call the game. This has been known for a long time but never really discussed among polite circles.

Then it obviously effected the outcome of an important game and brought increase scrutiny on their profession. We noticed it happen in the past in a couple of occasions in quick succession and the resulting outcry brought us instant replay. Referees really, really hated it, but had no choice but to suck it up and put up with it.

Now, unlike after instant replay, many of the referees have a specific target to take their frustrations out upon.

Had they changed the call on the field last year like they should have, we wouldn't be in this mess now. The Law of Unintended Consequences...

A true scandal, in broad daylight. Why is this not being investigated by the FBI and reported in all of the papers???
What papers? Just kidding. I guess some still exist, but that's a term that has to be on its way out.
