I’m just looking at a contingency where if for some reason we don’t get the 1 seed, it doesn’t end up going through Seattle.

The Hawks have a much more favorable schedule than the Niners. Shouldn’t we root for all the Hawks losses we can get?

The way I see it, the Niners and Hawks can't both get a bye, and barring an implosion by both teams, the winner of that division is probably getting one of the top 2 seeds. I'd rather it be the team we have already beaten instead of the team we have yet to play.
