I think we have to take this into our own hands. For this change to happen, us Who Dats need to put in some footwork to make sure we have a chance at the SB.

1) We need a Billboard, one that big media can see and the refs can see before every game they ref
2) We need all Who Dats to get involved. Anybody with any contacts to analysts/reporters/writers/announcers
3) Addresses (Twitter accounts/emails) of NFL officials, contacts at the NFL biggest Network contributors/sponsors
4) Corporate Sponsors to support us in this drive
5) Some graphics and communication people to get the messaging down
4) We will need a mass of us SR Who Dats to send very brief, or long if you have the time, emails to these people in #2 and #3 above
5) If no one else has the time, I'll take the project lead

We, the Who Dat nation need to give our team a realistic chance to win one or more SBs.

The poll is not to ask for commitments of time or project yet, but to find out if we have the resources to put together a team capable of pulling this off.

We now have the evidence. It's in our hands. Can you contribute to this cause??? THANKS SO VERY MUCH. We can justifiable cry and whine and complain all off season or we can do something serious to stop this FIXED SCREWING OF OUR SAINTS TEAM

This would accomplish the exact opposite.

Big media knows whats up. NFL knows whats up and the Referee association KNOWS whats up.

It would take fans of ALL 32 teams to take a stand. Otherwise, we are p@#$#$# into a headwind.

There will be no change. There will be no revolution. Billions of dollars are ate stake here. Not millions, Billions.

Exactly. Billions. And the last thing these corporate sponsors want, and I know this from my time in leadership at a Fortune 500 company is bad or rigged games. They invest billions yearly for rights to broadcast games. I know what I am talking about here. If we get enough response, the billion dollar network sponsors will go to Godell and say "FIX" or we will pull our sponsorship. We cannot be involved in supporting an entity that statistically is not proven to be rigged!

In no way trying to put you down Elf. I like your posts a lot. I just disagree on this. No one thought our country would ever be independent of England a few 100 years ago. I mean no offense Elf

I’m swamped with life right now but I’ll donate $ to help

i didnt take it as such.

No. No they wont. You may know this on a micro level, but these field is macro. What happens at a Fortune 500 company is not the same as a monopolistic conglomerate.

Again, having a small market fanbase revolt is akin to having a unit revolt in a battalion. It will get put down.

Feel free to raise as much funding as you can if you see fit. Just remember, there are consequences if the revolution doesnt take hold. Not for you....for those directly reliant upon the Saints organization.

there are 31 other fan bases out there that dont give a rats @#$# about the Saints. Until you unify THEM into one, this simply pokes the bear. Thats why the Colonists bided their time until there was a united front.

Like they are not getting screwed already?

Are they though? Still get revenue from tickets, from concessions, tv deals. Heck, we are one of the more highly rated teams when it comes to viewership. That will not change. But if it does, then what?

the NFL keeps moving along, with or without.

That is the absolute BEAUTY of the NFL long game.

and i understand your frustration - we all do.

But at some point, you need to realize that in this league, you either play along or be subjected to punitive measures.

Ask Pete what he thinks.

Is it possible to fight City Hall, or Commissioner Kafka?

I feel like the officials will just double down and all other fans will say "stop whining".

Part of what the Project team will do is create a website, with video analysis of every penalty called on both teams with analysis and blatant non calls. Bottom-line, one of our main goals it to create transparency to a form of abuse which was previously hidden and controlled by a handfull of hidden power players in the NFL and officiating

For those that get involved, there is a real possibility this could take off into a company focused solely on rigged or blown or covered-up bad officiating. Like PFF, if we get a few smart stats guys, of which there are a bunch on SR, we can develop our own set of metrics. No one else is doing this. PFF started with a couple of guys and now they are making a ton. So the real reason is to give our Saints a real chance and maybe it turns out to be a new fun and financially rewarding career for a some Who Dats

Can the League restrict usage of footage of the game?

Couple years ago I'd have been all over this but I honestly just don't care that much anymore.
