I had this debate in my head yesterday and for the first time ever I can't decide. I kept going back and forth. Speaking objectively, who would you take? No question Joe has a great year. Numbers don't lie. He seems to be NFL ready due to the fact he benefited from having Joe Brady. Burrow has a quick release, great touch on the ball, and pocket awareness. But you can't deny Lawrence is real good himself. He destroyed Alabama last year as a freshman. He came up big this year in the playoffs. And in the first quarter, I thought he played better than Burrow. He is the type of quarterback that at any given moment he will win it for you. Both players are tall. Lawrence seems to have a stronger arms but not as accurate as Burrow. Given Burrow now and Lawrence next year with experience, who would you take now? To me I just can't decide.

This is a really tough one, both can be generational players.

I know Lawrence will stay one more year in Clemson, but since we are talking hypothetically, if both were available at the same draft and I had the first pick, I will take Lawrence.

The only reason is because Lawrence has lost only one game, and have reached the finals twice.

But I really love the commanding presence of Burrow, the guy has it.

It is a Sophie's choice to me, both are extraordinary and I will be elated with either of them.

Both QB’s are amazing physically. Joe’s a 5th year senior where Lawrence is a true sophomore. IMO age, maturity, and experience gave Burrow the edge this year. Lawrence will only get better and will be a great NFL QB just like Burrow.

Lawrence is tough too. He came back in that Ohio State game.
True but last year and this year burrow took shots and he just doesn't seem to let them phase him which is a huge thing to have as a qb I mean last night we saw Lawrence idk if he was seeing ghost or what but if a guy got close the ball waa gone and inaccurate but he is young

I hear Joel Klatt on a radio show last week and they were talking about this. He said Burrow by far runs the better offense but individually man against man he said that Lawrence checks more boxes for the NFL game.

Personally, I have not seen Lawrence do anything with his arm that has ever impressed me. He is not an accurate passer and he seems to only connect with open receivers meaning he has to see the receiver open before he throws the ball. He can run but he is even less accurate out of the pocket and he gets flustered. It seems his big plays have to do with him running and I just don't think you want that in your NFL franchise QB.

True Burrow is more accurate with better touch. But every time Lawrence will get better. He already won a championship as a freshmen and took them to the championship game this year. And he is only a sophomore. I personally didn't see him get flustered much. But it will take a year or two in the NFL.

Joel Klatt is a hater when it comes to the SEC.

If I wasn't from Louisiana, I would say Lawrence all day. But since I rep NOLA, Burrow. I think both guys neesd to be careful with running and hits.
