.... were in that pre-game patriotic video they did. But not Gayle. What gives? I only saw this mentioned once and it was in the game thread but I'm sure others noticed. The name Benson is on the stadium at the Football Hall of Fame for heavens sakes. MAYBE there's a reasonable explanation but this is glaring to me.

Never noticed that.

If true, I see it as a slap in the face.

I noticed that as well. I thought we'd see Gayle at the game at some point, but, crickets. I was asking myself why. Either the NFL deliberately left her out, or, she declined the invite. Hard to imagine she'd do that, being a relative newcomer as an owner.

It's an excellent observation and I thought I'd make a thread last night, but completely forgot. Thanks JLo and Shakira! :hihi:

I noticed it, too. I was awaiting Gayle's turn. My first thought was that perhaps the other lady owners were intimidated by Gayle's good looks and she wasn't invited. :confused2:

Perhaps that is rather shallow, but it was my first thought, and I'll own it. :100:

I didn't realize how many teams have at least partial female ownership now.

At least 11 teams: Bills, Bears, Browns, Lions, Texans, Raiders, Saints, Eagles, 49ers, Seahawks, and Titans.

I'd be willing to bet the Chiefs have some female ownership, too.

I think she and amy adams strunk are the only outright female owners (that is, not with spouse or only plurality/majority ownership).

I kind of thought it had to do with original ownership. The Hunt’s always owned the Chiefs, The Ford’s always owned Lions , The Rooney’s always owned the Steelers and the Mcclesky’s always owned the Bears.

That would make some sense. I didn't really catch on to why they were being recognized. I missed the intros.

I guess so possibly since it's all about 100 years and the Saints are young. But how CONVENIENT is that to leave the Saints out? And then why ONLY the women? I thought it was a woman thing, not a 100 year thing. Nobody is noticing obviously but I did and I thin, it's bunk.

it was a 100 thing. The NFL gave us a filmed commercial With Brees and Alvin. Guess we should be happy they gave us anything at all.
