Can't believe they're still alive thread (1 Viewer)

George Soros.

Keith Richards

Iggy Pop

ESPECIALLY Ozzy Osbourne

Yeah, I'll include Steven Tyler in my list of rock stars from the 70's, 80's, 90's, and 2000's who, even by their own admission, have conceded the amount of drugs, booze, wild sex, stress and strain from constant world touring from their success as rock stars should've killed them. Tyler admitted to a rock documentary crew in late 80s he spent around $1 million on cocaine and heroin in 1976 alone, maybe more. He and Joe Perry both BTW drug problems were partly the reason their 1977 album Draw the Line took so long and was so difficult to record and finish. Tyler also said he wouldn't be surprised if he had snorted "half of Peru" during this late 70s period. His drug problems were so apparent, and had such an adverse effect on his life that for several years in early-mid 80s, Todd Rundgren actually raised his daughter, famed, celebrated actress Liv Tyler.

Unfortunately, for fans of Aerosmiths original 70s line-up, if you go to YouTube, there's more than a few surviving video clips of band playing some God awful, terrible-sounding shows, where Perry and Tyler were so out of it on drugs they couldn't even perform or sing the groups songs properly, or even rhyme-scheme. There was one infamous, notorious concert I believe in 1979 at Dallas Cotton Bowl where most Aerosmith fans will tell you might be the worst in the band's career.

Richards has had more of other people’s blood in him than a nest of Vampires. He is Mr. Transfusion.

Don't none of you put down that guy on Jeopardy.

Yes I’ve been thinking his day is near for a while now.. he’s looking very frail in his wheelchair every time I’ve seen pics of him recently... Will be tough to see him go, as well as the other Bob, Newhart.
Bob Barker in one pinky has more charisma than Drew Carey has in his body. I saw an episode special where both were on and Bob stole the show.

The king is still Keith Richards. His tombstone will say I had a lot of fun.

SNL did a skit many years ago about blood donations. The announcer said Keith Richards blood is now going for 2,500 a pint :)
