Wow, that's a lot of caffeine. How did they sleep at night?

My dad would drink coffee all day longI'd have a percolator but I don't drink that much. That's great coffee.
My first wife's parents used a percolator and drank coffee 16 hours per day.

Caribou Coffee Mahogany.Well, I suppose while we have this active coffee thread going....
What are yall drinking?
Currently, I alternate days between Community Coffee - Mardi Gras King Cake and Golden Caramel.
I have to be honest, I really go both ways (your welcome snoopy). I like to make a really good cup sometimes when I have time to sit at home. But most days I have a standard pot set up the night before and set to go off exactly 8 minutes before my alarm so when I walk out of the room I hear the last coughing of the percolator. Coffee is like sex. Some is better but as long as it’s not too weak, there isn’t any that’s bad.
French Market, Union or CDM. But I don't brew or drink coffee anymore. I just put a pinch of the grounds between my lower lip and gums and treat it like snuff. Have to make sure to brush my bottom tooth really well between servings, but other than that, it works great.
Yeah, don't need no frothy dairy stuff or sweeting agents added to it.
I drink one cup of coffee per day and I use the Fruehling french press. It makes enough for 2 large cups - one for me and one for the tiny wife.
Good, simple coffee is as easy as fresh ground beans, filtered water (heated just shy of boiling) and a French press. If you must use a coffee maker, I have heard very good things about this OXO machine. If you're not yet in the market for a machine, pour the full pot in a good thermos for future consumption and turn off the machine, IMO is the way to go.So, I know a bunch of you are experienced coffee drinkers. Thinking about whether to keep coffee pot warmer on all day, or should warmer be turned off and reheat in the microwave?
When keeping warm for several hours, the coffee becomes more bitter, to the point it tastes burnt. Turning heat off and microwaving seems ok. Not as bad as the warmer after several hours.
Just thinking whether it's better to brew a large pot and have some ready for later in the day, or take the extra time, make a smaller pot, then make another small pot when needed.
And yeah, I know, I can always get a Keurig and skip that problem. Heh.
Any other tips from our resident coffee gurus?
