N/S: Lions looking to trade Stafford (Front office says it's not true-Mod edit) (1 Viewer)

Stafford just turned 32. The Chargers, with the 6th pick in the draft, a talented team, and the need to win now and sell tickets, seem a logical destination.

More and more, it seems that someone at 3 or 4 is going to pick Tua.

Detroit wasted their best QB’s career.
Patricia putting a downfield gunslinger in a dreadful west coast offense should of gotten him fired. I'm not saying Jim Caldwell was perfect, but he sure as hell was the best coach they had in decades and he gotten out the most from that talent-less squad.

Detroit blown a lot of lead because of that offense and that offense should be a strength.

Detroit has been a Wasteland since they fired Wayne Fontes.

Chucky isn't happy with Carr. I've been thinking that Teddy might be a target for him, but Stafford makes sense too.

Stafford to Tampa might make sense too. It would be a great spot for him with Godwin and Evans to throw to.

I'm not sure the Colts are satisfied with Brissett. That wouldn't be a bad spot either.

This is going to be an insane offseason. At least half of the teams in the league could be rolling out a new QB this season. I don't ever recall another offseason with so much QB movement.

Stafford is still an excellent QB.

It's amazing how there is this pocket of the same franchises, year-in and year-out, that just never amount to anything. Sure, they have anomaly years here and there where they are decent, but they're really never real threats to win it all:

Detroit, Cleveland, and Cincinnati are the teams that immediately come to mind.

You just described the Saints from 1967-1986, and from 1994-1999. It happens.

Also, Buffalo, NY Jets and Miami.
