Funny when he was released from Carolina and a lot of people here wanted him. Even Brees was willing to adjust his salary to get him. Can you imagine if we did signed him. The make up of this team would be so different. Lattimore would not be drafted. In fact a lot of the players we have now wouldn't be drafted by us. We would of been in a serious cap situation. Our record wouldn't be competitive, in my opinion. I am glad it didn't happen. Just one player can change the make up of a team real fast.

He was bad last year. Like not "he wasn't Josh Norman" bad - but actually bad, below replacement level, etc.

Knowing him, he probably put out minimal effort on that dumpster fire that was the Redskins last year. But I'd vote against it because 1) I don't want his locker room presence and 2) he's going to want more money than he's worth.

With the way Norman’s played, we’d likely have the same bottom-20 defense we’re used to. That said, I thought he’d likely been kept, with his old coach running the show now.

Just work something out with Janoris Jenkins to lower that cap hit and keep him, Jenkins is a better player than Norman at this point.

True. I don't think any team will offer him what he may expect to get. I can easily see him retiring and trying to do TV. He has been a presence on pre-game shows when he has a bye week.
