Quit trying so hard to be Mr Contrarian.

Underhill's articles are unmatched from any other Saints' beat writer perspective. Who else comes close to delivering the type of content NU put out while he was here?
 
Underhill was a huge loss when he left and I an excited about him coming back. No question the best beat writer I have seen in my plus 54 years following the Saints. There were several occasions when he was covering the Saints that I texted/emailed him and he always responded quickly and with the information I was looking for. I, too, would absolutely subscribe to him, particularly since I am not subscribed to NOLA (which bothers me to no end as I cannot now get any New Orleans or Saints news via NOLA)

Most Saints fans don’t read SR and most don’t know any delusional guys who work at gyms in Texas so that will only be a hot button question from people here. The two times that he’s addressed it he has been laughing and was astonished that anyone believes it.

Underhill is fine... he shines as a Saints reporter because the other folks that “cover” the Saints are completely gawd-awful. When your peers include jokes named “Scooter” and a bunch of posers who post pictures of their lunch rather than reporting on the Saints, it’s easy to look great.
I hope he goes back to hosting the “Saints Talk”
Podcast... that was a very good pod when he was leading it.

I have three small kids and my wife and I are very tight with money. In fact, I’d say we’re cheap.

I’m going to budget for his content. I think it’s that good. I always learn something when I Read his stuff.
