I loved Zach Line, and I wish him all the best in his retirement. I also love the fact that the Saints are one of the few remaining teams that still use a FB on a regular basis...

Ive mentioned this guy in passing in past threads and posts, but after his workout in Indy, I’m smitten with former Cincinnati Bearcats TE/H-Back/FB Josiah Deguara. With an offensive mind like CSP, I’d love to see this kid get an opportunity to be a part of the Saints’ offense.

I have been wondering if there was a multi tool FB that SP can get in this draft. I'm going to check this guy out.

Wow, def would love this kind of versatility...be a great fit in our scheme. Wonder where he is projected to go?

I want Bayless, WR out of Ar State (Demario Davis alma mater) or Liberty freak Antonio Gandy-Golden. Awful year to not have a second. I like OL even better than WR crew and would be happy to go OL in round 1. Lots of talent that has performed well enough to be board risers. Id take Wills from Bama or Jones from Houston and be ecstatic and pick up one fo the WR mentioned as soon as we can.. I like Alfred O as well as the Cinncy TE and agree it is now a position of need.

Most “experts” I saw had him as a Day 3 pick going into Indy... I think he solidified that status at the Combine. He needs the right system to have a legit shot... I think the Saints have one of those systems, and he could realistically be there for a Day 3 pick

There is a kid from Boston College that was pretty damn good too!

Yep that guy has a future in this league

That type of work ethic is what turns players into stars.

Not saying he is going to he a star, but I'm also not saying he isn't.

Kind of depends on were he goes, if he can go to a place like New Orleans, were he can be used in a variety of ways, and fulfill his full potential, then it's very possible.

My thoughts exactly... New Orleans, New England, Kansas City, maybe even Denver would be good fits

Payton has to be falling in love with this prospect.

I can see CSP drafting a versatile like that. Someone similar to Juszcyk from the 9ers.

I’m still in on Deguara, and I stand by everything in the OP, but if Deguara ends up somewhere else, there’s another prospect that brings a similar and very exciting skill-set to the table.

Dalton Keene, VaTech - This kid is something. He played all over the place for the Hokies, lining up at TE, H-Back, and FB. He’s a full-throttle football player that brings tenacity to every snap. CSP could maximize this kid’s potential, and he is a guy that could be a much better pro than he was in college.
