If Alvin Gentry was the coach of my 7 year old girl’s little league team, I would pull her out and take her to another park.

You’re not kidding. Next game, we should try leaving 4 players on their own side of the court. Just have 1 on the other side to play “D” , but mainly he’s just there to inbound and throw a full court pass to an open guy to take a 3 pointer while the other 3 guys are under the rim for wide open layups. Pretty sure that would beat what they did tonight. But at least her team would be able to score 134 points.
Being at the game last night, the defense folded like a lawn chair when they needed it most. Restricting Zion's minutes in crucial situation will be the undoing for Gentry. It should have been a trade of AD and AG last season but I think David makes good on that this offseason.
I sure hope so. Some people are saying he may get a pass because of the Zion injury. But he has been fired 4 previous times for failure at different stops as a head coach, so I think he has already proven what he can do......and it aint much. Plus we now lost 3 in a row with Zion - 2 at home, 1 against a 17 win team, 2 with an opponent's superstar player out. Should we give him a pass because JJ is out now? There will always be an excuse, but it is way past time for him to go.Being at the game last night, the defense folded like a lawn chair when they needed it most. Yeah, I keep seeing how easy our final 15-20 games are and am slightly worried that if we go on a run to end the season then Gentry will be retained.
That is the worst case scenario. Finish 1.5 games out of 8th place and Griff gives him another extension.
