If you believe Deebo Samuel has the chops to be a #1 WR, then Ruggs makes a lot more sense. You could also argue that #85 is their #1 and then Samuel and (potentially) Ruggs would #2 and #2a

Either way, the Niners had a surplus of pass rushers, and this trade could make them a better team. I’m crossing my fingers that Shanahan and Co “Falcon” this opportunity
