That may be true but if the Saints don't do something about the pass rush pushing the offensive line back into Brees's lap all the WR's on the planet won't make a bit of difference!

And no you can't just find linebackers anywhere.

Drafting a receiver at #24 would be a HUGE waste at this point!

Linebacker and offensive line should be the priority with the 1st pick now. This is the the Saints.............................not the Cleveland Browns!

The guy said let's draft one, he didn't say in the first round. Why must people always be in attack mode on this forum. It's getting ridiculously unbearable to come to this site.

This is legendary WR draft class. If draft prospect Michael Thomas was in this class he would have went in the 3rd round. Sanders is awesome...nobody has been pumping him harder since the trade deadline...but he is aging and the Saints runs tons of 3 WR sets. It is very possible that WR will be BPA at #24. I don’t think you turn down another WR with Michael Thomas ability.

The better question is how many passes do you want the Saints to throw in a game? We have Thomas, Kamara, Cook, and now Sanders. I just hope that Sean Payton doesn't totally abandon the running game now.

All the records and yards and completion percentages that Brees has put up over the years are great but it doesn't win championships!

So yes I would be mad if the Saints took a WR at #24

non-vet WRs tend to take time to get up to speed in SP's offense. Sanders should be fine, but adding a guy like Jefferson does nothing but make your team better.

It's all academic anyway. We're signing Delpit.

We got him mid 2nd round.

He could have easily fallen to early 3rd if they had that many great receivers in that draft.

Took a peek at the 49ers board. They are not happy they gave up picks for Sanders and didn’t resign him for that money. They’re extra not happy that he went to us. F bombs are flying around there.

They have a stud in Deebo Samuel. They shouldn’t be too upset.
