Why Clay Matthews. How does he fit here?

The better question is how many passes do you want the Saints to throw in a game? We have Thomas, Kamara, Cook, and now Sanders. I just hope that Sean Payton doesn't totally abandon the running game now.

All the records and yards and completion percentages that Brees has put up over the years are great but it doesn't win championships!

Yes it did win a championship 11 years ago and the Saints were also the #3 rushing team in the league that season. 11 years in the NFL is an eternity.

It was one of the very few seasons that the Saints ran any semblance of a balanced attack so all the records and the passing yards are great but in the big picture it still doesn't mean squat!!

I read a story a few years ago when Bill Parcells wanted to make Sean Payton his OC and he asked him to draw up 100 plays............ 70% of the plays were pass plays.

Parcells crumbled it up and threw it into a waste basket...................I wonder why he did that.

Last year, it was easy for opponents to stack the box. With a real #2 receiver, Murry and Kamara should light it up.This offense should be unstoppable. Converting 3rd downs should be easier with Sanders in the lineup.

He’d instantly be the 2nd best LB on the team, even at his age. Smart veteran leader. We’re thin at the position, and while we need to draft one, he will provide instant NFL experience and help mentor the younger guys. Would help mitigate the loss of Klein in the short-term. If there’s a better option floating around, I must not have heard.

Happy to have emmanuel sanders but i still feel we need to draft someone though probably not in 1st round now. The light for tre'quan smith still hasn't seemed to come on and i wouldn't be shocked if tedd ginn doesn't make the team.

Im hoping the Saints sign him. 8 sacks in 13 games=something left in tank.

This morning I woke up thinking the only thing the Saints need is a WR. Be it F.A or draft.

Now the Saints can pursue the Best players available through out the rest of free agency, draft, UDFAs and post camp roster cuts.=
