Does Ted Ginn Jr. make the 2020 Saints roster? (1 Viewer)

Really? Ginn would not be the name that would come to mind for "no heart" and last year's team.
I think a lot of people are upset that he didn't even attempt to go up and fight Anthony Harris on the Interception in the Wild Card game, if anything just to at least try and knock it down and prevent the Interception, it was a playoff game and instead he just kind of drifted away.

I know Ginn's game has never been contested catches, but I think it's time to move onto a donwfield threat that goes up and high points balls, attacks in the air.

Even if we draft a WR, i think we need to sign one more. i'd be OK with Ginn coming back on a cheap deal or i'd be willing to throw 3-5mil a year for a guy like Gabriel. Ginn has inconsistent hands, one game he will go 7 for 7 and then next he can have 4 drops -but one thing the guy can always do even at his age is get open.

I'd feel more comfortable with Ginn as a #4-5 WR than a #2 WR like he was last year. Even writing that makes me frustrated...huge blunder by the Saints FO and it was easy to see it coming.

I like Ginn but could see us moving on. Bigger problem is figuring out a way to get the ball downfield. With Drew in - that's not going to happen. With Taysom Hill in - the downfield game comes back.

When Taysom gets the deep balls a bit more on a rope rather than lofting them into the Dome lights, THEN the downfield game comes back.

I say no especially if the Saints draft a receiver.

yes,why not

I say we sign him at league minimum, if, and only if it makes the Dez threads go away throughout the season.

If nothing else, he knows the offense and he doesn't seem to have a problem running clear out routes to move a safety and open things up for other receivers. I could see us bringing him back, but thankfully as a #4 or #5 WR like you said.

This will likely depend on what we do the rest of FA and the draft... or on the development of Harris and TQS.

I like Ginn over Tommylee regardless.

No, there is going to be some quality receivers available in the third or fourth round.
