I’ve said this before here more than once

Muhammad Ali in his prime beats anyone else in their prime

Period.

My dream matchup: Iron Mike Tyson vs Smokin’ Joe Frazier

So much of Mike’s mystique and power was his intimidation

And you DON’T intimidate Joe Frazier

That’s a fight I’d like to have seen

Mike would have been the goat imo, if he hadn’t gone off his rocker.

And he beat Buster. They slow counted it when he knocked Buster down.

Tyson vs. Ali.

Also honorable mention to my favorite fighter of all time and for me the most fun to watch.
Roy Jones Jr.

In a hypothetical fight between the two greatest heavyweight boxers of all time, Mike Tyson would have beaten Muhammad Ali, according to current champion Anthony Joshua.

There are great differences between the heavyweights in the 'Golden Era' of the sport, in which the heavyweight championship lineage went from Ali, Joe Frazier, and George Foreman, to athletes today like Joshua, Tyson Fury, and Deontay Wilder, who are, on average, 6-foot-7 and are naturally bigger, Joshua said.

Tyson, who is 5-foot-10 but broad-shouldered and phenomenally powerful with a 220-pound frame, would defeat Ali because of the difficulties "The Greatest" endured during his historic trilogy against the 6-foot Joe Frazier..................

Mike Tyson once offered a zookeeper $10,000 to open a cage so he could "smash" a silverback gorilla in the face

Tyson said he was being given a private tour of a zoo more than 30 years ago, saw a gorilla being a bully, and offered the tour guide a considerable sum of money so he could go inside the cage and punch him.

"I paid a worker at New York's zoo to re-open it just for me and [ex-wife] Robin [Givens]," Tyson said, according to Boxing Scene.

"When we got to the gorilla cage there was one big silverback gorilla there just bullying all the other gorillas. They were so powerful but their eyes were like an innocent infant.

"I offered the attendant $10,000 to open the cage and let [me] smash that silverback's snot box! He declined."...……...

Would be interesting to see if Floyd could avoid him and outpoint him as he does everyone.

I think Floyd is the most pure technician the sport has ever seen.

He was also gifted a couple of fights.

Buster got a slow count, but I think it was pretty clear he could have gotten up a second or two earlier -- it's not his fault the ring ref started late. Tyson from just a year or two earlier would have smoked him, but aside from that flash knockdown Douglas really dominated the fight and was the better fighter that night.

Everything I’ve read said that Cus D’amato’s death was the beginning of the end for Tyson

That Tyson would have smoked him if he had taken the fight more seriously

Also Busters mother passed just a week or two before the fight which gave him extra motivation

Greatest boxer or all time, pound for pound, is my friend, Roy Jones Jr.

How about Sugar Ray Leonard vs. Sugar Ray Robinson?
Robinson is the greatest boxer of all time.

Or how about Hagler vs. Hopkins?

I'd like to see Hearns v. Roy Jones Jr.
