Correct me If I'm wrong, but when peat was out. Our o line played great and we didnt have any issues. That rams game and vikings game showed our issue and his name was Andrus Peat. He got drew hurt and he was getting turned around in the interior by everson Griffin and company. Minny purposely put their d ends in he middle and came after drew.

You don't need to convince us. I was as surprised as most when I heard Nick Underhill say it on his podcast. But the team sounds like it's on the outs with Warford and think highly of Peat.

Apparently Peat was playing hurt the whole time. Not my excuse. Just repeating Underhill.

That's crazy to me

I haven't been keeping up since the pick so I don't know who's really blaming who. Warford is the more valuable between him and Peat so I think that's why more people are thinking it's Warford who might get moved on. If we don't get the right offer for Warford then we have McCoy, him, and Peat at guard. Peat becomes the knew Kelemente if you will.

I agree Peat can be very iffy sometimes esp hurt but when he's not hurt he plays well plus he is used in so many ways, LG, LT, playcaller (if true he called some plays for McCoy).

Warford looked bad on some plays last year and he's getting older plus they could be looking to trade him b/c of $$, they pay him alot.

I doubt they paid all that money to Peat for him to sit on the bench.

Peat played well against the run but his struggles came against the pass, perhaps due to the injury. His strength is run blocking, though, and his re-signing leads me to think the Saints do plan to run more than usual.
Which would be great.

Which is why I think we try to move Warford. If we don't the right price, then I think Warford is better than Peat and therefore Peat becomes the new Kelemente.
