The flying fox is a very different bat from the bats that are sold in China's markets.

Corona Virus is different from the Flu? And your point? It's just the very irony of our new quarter coming out with a bat on the back saying 2020... It's sure to be a keeper. We will always remember 2020 and just kind of helps...

It's really no big deal... Just kinda wow.

My point is that the flying fox is a different type of bat than the bats sold in China's markets.

WHile that is understood... I am just curious what that has to do with the irony of a bat being put on our US currency during a year that the country shut down to a virus that could have possibly been caused by a bat?

Since they are different kinds of bats, does this make it any less ironic? Or are you just sharing your bat knowledge? :D

Sharing knowledge.

The Samoan fruit bat (or flying fox) is currently found only in Samoa and Fiji, and is an endangered species (or at least it was until not long ago).

If I have to come up with an analogy, the irony would be tantamount to that of a Pit Bull mauling a baby, then people cringing because a quarter had the image of a Cocker Spaniel.

i just want to know WHEN it started to cost 6 of those BAT quarters to put air in my tire!
