Jameis Winston on Saints: 'It's like a Harvard education in quarterback school' (1 Viewer)

Winston has been a Saint for just a few days now and his focus and demeanor are already changing.
He does seem genuine in everything he's saying. Good luck kid, play your cards right and you will be on your way.
No doubt the skill level is there.

As much as this speaks well of the Saints it equally poorly does so with TB in particular Arians the overhyped QB Guru

They are going to flip flop on you so much Jameis. I’m going to love watching you win people over through your actions. Everyone switches up when you WIN!

Would be interesting to see the cross reference of the people who hated Teddy Bridgewater being here last year with the people who hate signing Winston. You can't find a discouraging word about TB now but, man, last year it was awful.

Not surprised I’ve been here for over 10 years and I stopped visiting because of clear bias, ignorance, double standards and you know the rest.
I literally came back because I knew saints fans would be hating on JW...I was so right.

while you are true...there are many more reasons to not like Winston than TB. By all accounts TB was a spectacular guy off and on the field. Winston...not so much...and also was a division rival for years.

Physical skills; yes! Mental skills; no, but not yet a final verdict. Will be a work in progress.

You are making broad based negative generalizations about some forum posters, that you claim those posters are doing same, relative to Winston. You are no better. So just stay away.

Any coach or front office staffer that has ever been around Jameis has said his only issue is decision making, be it on or off the field. It’s all between the ears. When he was coming out in 2015, he was Andrew Luck with baggage. Insanely talented, but not good at making the right choices.

He could’ve gone to New England, played for a year and waited for them to draft a QB in 2021 that stole his job. He could’ve gone to Jacksonville and started for a season until they draft a QB. He could’ve gone to Pittsburgh and played behind a much more fragile starting QB. He made the first great decision of his career IMO, sitting behind a brilliant mind and looking to rehabilitate both his image and his value.

Hindsight is always 20/20. Teddy was certainly a class act, on top of what he did on the field! And Teddy never had an ounce of bad baggage with him, before he came here. Winston though; another story. That is the issue, more so for Winston than with Teddy’s signing. We will see. I am hopeful his off the field bad baggage is behind him. Benefit of doubt.

You literally pointed out what we all knew about Teddy before he joined the team. That's not hindsight.
