I’ve recently rewatched the Houston and Seattle games from last year. The man is all over the place.

If you were to watch him and assume he was an All-Pro, you wouldn’t be surprised.

He broke up screens, had TFL, took on like 10 double teams a game.

Marcus is absolutely going to be a great player in this league if he stays healthy. (So if this is your reason, okay. Fair.)

But all of the Everson Griffin talk lately...I don’t want him to take snaps from MD. I’m 100% serious about that. I think he’s going to really break out this year.

He’s a beast! But so far injuries affected his performance down the stretch of his rookie year and he wasn’t available at the end of last season due to injuries. Everson Griffin would give us a third edge rusher for great depth.

If Davenport stays healthy he will become a dominant player. He was on the verge of breaking out last season but injuries are really slowing his progress.

That is my take as well. I believe in Davenport. The only ability in question is availability. If healthy, he has the talent to be a top 10 DE in the entire league.

It's hard for us Who Dats to put a ton of faith in the "If he's ____ then ____" players after our run of terrible luck in that department.

I think he has all the tools to be one of the best pass rusher's in the league. He also has some elite run defending skills, but he just hasn't been able to stay healthy and that's a problem so far.

Who doesn’t believe in him?

It’s easy to see he’s a total stud that disrupts often....just missed portions of both his seasons with injuries.
You have some members who birch about every thing. They are like three old sisters sitting on the porch arguing about which way the wind is blowing.

If you cherry pick, you can look like a good player. The problem is that he hasn't been consistent and has been injury prone his first two seasons. He definitely has potential. He doesn't strike me as a guy who will make the most of a weird offseason such as this one...which has guarded my expectations a bit.

If anyone is doubting anything it's the toe not the player....If he can push off all season and stay healthy he is golden, but that will also be the first year he will do so in his 3 year career. He needs to get a 16 game season under his belt in a bad way

As with the Taysom is the future argument, potential is there and there are flashes but consistency is the key

also good plays are great but bad plays are bad , needs to stay away from the head etc His ability to overwhelm can cause him to get penalties

I believe he can be great if he wants it

The ones that hate him are the individual start line watchers.
If you pay attention to how qb after he gets to then with a pressure. Have to agree, he need to work on his strike zone

I love davenport but I’m a big supporter of griffen because of injuries and griffen can also kick inside and provide some rush. If davenport, cam, or rankins get injured we are in deep trouble
