Iran is officially calling it a gas tank explosion.
But the images are of a bright reddish flash that quickly goes dark.

Wouldn't a large gas tank explosion & fire leave a bright light in the night sky for a long period of time???

It’s not dawn yet in Tehran, info seems really sparse now - and could remain that way. But I think the pace of info will pick up, people have so many ways to communicate these days.

Plus I think if neighboring nations and allies start freaking out about fallout, we’ll find out. But maybe it just some big conventional explosion or some other explanation and only a local issue. Just happened so late at night there.

The U.S. took out a Iranian general with a drone, why wouldn't the U.S. inflict more damage on Iran? Have they suddenly became good friends, or is the war escalating?

Economies that depend on oil exports, are severely crippled right now, due to the shut down. Once a countries economy is weak, they are vulnerable to attacks.
