Waiver will not release the team and owners of liability, particularly from family members who catch it from attendees. Just like that Tulsa fiasco, the family members that didn't attend but catch it from attendees can sue.

This is what I would need
Each ticket holder has a test 7, 5 and 2 days before game
It’s got to be at Yulman or other outdoor stadium
Staggered parking, entrance/seating times (if you’re not there on time no go)
An app that allows you to order no contact food/bev delivered in full PPE if drones aren’t available
An app that reserves /allows for bathroom trips
Staggered exit times

Nope. not going unless there is a vaccine that I get before I go to the games.

(I do think there's a good chance there will be a vaccine before the last....if there are any, NFL games are played during the 2020 season, but I don't know if the availability would be such that I would have gotten the vaccine yet.)

If the Saints and NFL allowed it to be regular attendance as long as you sign a waiver that the league and team is not responsible for Covid 19, would you go or wait for things to improve or sit out all season? Poll included, please elaborate if your exact answer isn't there since I'm trying to keep the poll concise. Multiple choices are allowed.

This poll is telling and very informative for me. Thank you for posting it.

So I would be willing to sign a waiver and go or just go if no waiver is required. I'd just continue to be mindful with what I touch and wash my hands when needed. Maybe wear a mask except on defense when noise is needed.
Wash you hands in the dome bathroom? Have you seen what happens in those sinks? You’re catching more than COVID in there.

You'd have a proof problem anyway -- how can you prove you got COVID from attending an event?

You need a good-faith basis for filing a claim. Even if you go to a full indoor gathering without masks and a lot of folks who went turn up with COVID, that doesn't mean that YOU got COVID from attending THAT event, especially if it's widespread in your community anyway.

While the waiver's probably no good, I'm not sure you can prove it, either. You might be able to intimidate some people into not suing, but that's not going to stop any decent lawyer from filing a class action suit on behalf of a bunch of sick attendees.

What a freaking mess.

The least I can do as a good person is to reduce the chance that I pass along an illness to a person who's trying to save my life, if something happens to me. It's not too much to ask IMHO and I bet I'm in the majority.

Perfect^ I don't blame anybody who wants to go to a game and has tickets already. We are sick of being couped-up. However, to get a hold of this virus, from the best scientific knowledge we have at this time, what you said is perfect. We must move from, "A me centric, I am not worried about getting the virus, to a Can I give the virus to others not even knowing I have it." It's moving from me to we.

Sad.

I was definitely interested in what results might be and I haven't been disappointed. I figured most would be all in for going or either all in for not going with a few in between. Seems similar to how the overall public is taking every day life.

I figured it be more like the fine print on the back of the tickets, something people probably won't read fully anyways.

Say fans are allowed with no restrictions, I will happily buy some face value tickets from those who voted that they are not going to at least get your money back.
I will keep that in mind. I would be happy to know that a Saints fan is in my seats and not an opposing fan.

That's all true although it wouldn't be the first time someone sued for something where it is very difficult to prove specific causation. It's the problem with most cancer suits. There are so many causes of cancer, it is difficult to say if the thing sued for is the thing that caused it. But, it happens all the time.

That being said, my guess is that the most likely scenario would be an attempt to file a class action to include all people who attended NFL games or Saints games during the COVID outbreak. It would be easier to prove the general principle that there was COVID at these events and that it spread to large numbers of people rather than just trying to do it on a case by case basis. But, class certification might be difficult.
