So I’ll give you a scenario and you guess whose fault it is. Got it? Let’s play the game!

Me: I’m gonna run to the burrito place, would you like for me to pick you up something?

Her: Yes.

Me: Okay text me what you want.

Her: They have online ordering.

Me: Yeah but what I want isn’t on the online menu, I’ll order at the window.

Her: Okay I’ll send you a screen shot.

Me: Okay cool.

- - 30 minutes later - -

Me: Here’s your steak salad.

Her: What?!

Me: Your screen shot says steak - look (*shows screen shot)

Okay contestants now it’s time for you to guess whose fault is it?

Bonus for guessing the next line of the conversation correctly.

for merely asking the question, you are clearly at fault

did the screen shot read "steak" or "steak salad", because there's some ambiguity in ur description

my guess for the next line is, "we should've used the online menu" (with an optional "dumb***")

Her: They have online ordering. (This is her telling you what she wants/wants to do; it's subtle and not direct, but it's there.)

Me: Yeah but what I want isn’t on the online menu, I’ll order at the window. ("Yeah, but..." is you being dismissive and not taking her needs into account. You should have been able to read her mind. DUH!)
At the end of the day, it's your fault. It's not rationale, but it is what it is. :hihi:

Sorry, Dear, My Mistake.

Kinda' tipped your hand there Zippy! If what you want "isn't on the online menu," pick up the phone and call. Clearly, you ventured out for a nooner or a couple of mid-day "pops" and she saw right through your shenanigans. Should probably give your wife more credit. Them there smart phone things are actually still capable of making telephone calls

So it's a burrito place - the menu item is "salad" and then you choose the protein.

The next line of the exchange is "You know I would never order steak!"

It's totally her fault.

YES! I SAID IT!
