So I've been enjoying my hobby of sports cards collecting lately, getting back into it since I always enjoyed it as a kid, but couldn't really afford it. One day, I got the wild idea to share my enjoyment of the hobby with others through YouTube. I've started making a few videos and teaching myself the process as I go. It's something new for me and is taking some getting used to, but I find that it's a fun extension of the hobby.

What youtube page? I have a couple binders of sports cards untouched since i was a child. I only kept the notable names

I’ve put up a couple of cooking videos on YouTube for students looking to make Cajun dishes

I keep that ish private tho lol

I would be interested in a sports cards channel. If you don’t mind sharing I’d be interested.

I collected, traded, and sold pretty heavily from 88-93 pretty hardcore.

I did back in the day. Mostly educational videos on historic stuff.

I also recently found out one of my recent comments had 2K likes already.

Yes I was all  about it too.

I made this:

I put my travel video on there. They are far from professional and I didn’t want monetizing.

Are you one of the ‘Van Life’ people? They all seemed to be living out fun, glamorous adventures, until the pandemic hit... Somehow that seemed to put a bit of a crimp into some of their lifestyles.

i’m not mad though, one day I’d like to join them.

Somewhat, I took an English teaching job so that I could travel Europe. This summer has been a bust and I also had trips to Bucharest (March) and Zurich (April) cancelled. Germany canceled Oktoberfest, not sure where I'll go in October. I may stay another year so I can keep the apartment for my travels.

I certainly appreciate subs, likes, comments, whatever. Feedback is appreciated. Realize that I'm not a professional or anything and getting used to talking to an audience through a camera and around a light stand takes some doing. :)

I've posted YouTube videos of some of the vocal cover songs I've recorded.
Sadly you have to dispute every cover you post for a shot at being able make it viewable because they first assume copyright infringement.

Most of the time they will eventually approve of the cover video, but not always. And disputing is always a pain. :hm:
